Deanna Ball is the best counselor I have ever worked with. I started counseling at age 18 , I am now 67. No counselor has ever helped me like she has. She has given me helpful tools that work to help me. I started working with her October on 2024. I am in a much better state of mind now. Starting to enjoyed life again. Thriveworks Counseling is a great service to work with. Nice people and very professional .
The zoom appoints are so convenient! I got one really fast. Alejandra is amazing. She is knowledgeable and seems to really care about my progress and doing what works for me. I never feel judged by her and I struggled with that at my last therapist. Her counseling is invaluable.
I’ve been working with Dr. Smith for 2 years now and all I can say is wow. The change that I’ve seen in myself is amazing, my family and friends also have noticed a difference. I am so grateful my paths crossed with Dr. Smith, she is simply the best, she really takes the time to get to know you and figure out how to help you become the best you, you can be. The homework that she gives is tailored for exactly what she wants you to work through and it has never felt like just busy work. She’s a great listener and even very transparent. My first experience going to therapy and I don’t regret it.
It feels good to have a space where you can feel heard and understood. I really enjoy my time with my therapist Ms Mariana Jaramillo, where I can express my thoughts without feeling judged and at the same time she can point out a different way of seeing and understanding an issue. She is very polite, very patient, very respectful of different cultures and very insightful. I would recommend her to anyone who just needs someone to listen.
I had a hard time recognizing that I needed counseling. It was a hard first step, and I though the rest of the process would be equally daunting. I opted to try Thriveworks and was pleasantly surprised. My experience with Mariana Jaramillo was a prime example of "People make all the difference": from the start, her welcoming energy made me feel at easy and she helped me realize that my journey was a normal one, one that would lead to a better place. A few sessions in, I feel I can tell Mariana anything; she listens attentively and actively and presents me with coping mechanisms tailored to my needs. I feel lucky to have matched with her and will continue deepening my discovery journey. I encourage everyone reading this review to take the first step! Trust me, it gets better from there!
