I traveled from Munich to Texas for the Beginner Bachata Certification, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made for my dance journey. I went because I truly believe these two are the absolute best — and this week confirmed it on every level. The training was incredibly valuable. I learned so much more than I expected, and things finally started to make sense in a deeper, more embodied way. Everything was explained with so much clarity, patience, and precision. I really appreciated how the concepts were broken down — simple, logical, and easy to apply right away. The atmosphere throughout the week was amazing: fun, relaxed, and full of good energy. There was always room for humor, questions, and growth, which made the whole experience not only educational but genuinely enjoyable. I felt supported the entire time, and the practical tips I received are things I can truly take with me and continue to build on. This certification was inspiring, motivating, and exactly what I needed. If you’re considering training with them — do it. You’ll walk away a better dancer, with a deeper understanding and a lot of joy in your heart.

My daughter started with Jamie at Performing Arts Workshop last year. She was so excited to get into dancing but was always so nervous to be on stage. The wonderful team at PAW gave her the confidence and skills to go on stage and perform with confidence. She is now in her second year and taking five dance classes and loving them all. Highly recommend this wonderful studio!

My daughter has been at PAW since she was 3 yrs old, and I can't imagine a better place for her to have begun her dance journey. Miss Jamie is an incredible teacher, and person, and I love that she personally teaches the youngest students. Seeing what she gets out of 3, 4, and 5 yr olds is just breathtaking. She is kind, encouraging, supportive, and everything you could want in the person you are trusting your child with. If you are considering starting your child in dance, PAW is where you want to go.

Learning our first dance was definitely the most fun part of wedding planning! We had so much fun working with Jaime on our dance. We went from having no idea what we were doing to having a dance we were confident in and excited to show off. Each week when we came for our lesson, she was super prepared with what we should learn next in the choreography but also happy to adjust based on what we liked best. It was so much fun that we’re thinking of trying to find more dance classes we can do together (though unfortunately she doesn’t do group adult dance classes at the moment).

My daughter is enjoying virtual classes. Mr. Calvin reached out to me via text message to let me know that Sara's screen was black and I was able to go check on her and help her fix the issue. Even though I am in my room, I can hear the interaction between Ms. Sophie and my child. My child is always engaged and never feels left out. My husband and I really appreciate how much the team is putting into making these difficult times very successful for the children. We definitely feel that not only the team is working so hard to make our girl feel like she's part of the class, but also that she is cared for.
