Went on Saturday to celebrate my Dad’s 60th. There were 8 of us, so quite a big table but the service we received was phenomenal. I wish we had got the waiters name because he was so attentive, friendly and accommodating. Food was great and very fast. Couldn’t fault it at all.

Went at 6.30 on Friday after new year and it was still very busy but it is in the cathedral quarter so it is always a very busy area. Arrived early but the guy got me a table which was excellent. My stepdaughter was twenty minutes late but the staff were very understanding. The food was excellent with the steaks both cooked to perfection and the vegetables were superb. I deducted a mark for service for a couple of things. I asked for napkins but obviously the girl forgot about them. Also the Irish coffee I got was not an Irish coffee but a coffee with no whiskey. They did give me a proper one which was excellent however. The wine I got was also very good. Overall a great restaurant with a good vibe and excellent food, and the staff were really good regarding my step daughter arriving late. It is a little expensive but definitely well worth a visit if in town for a night or on holiday especially with so many busy bars in which to have a drink afterwards all within a short walking distance in the happening part of the city.

Top Blade was top nosh. Had fabulous meal in this great restaurant. Everything was spot on, great service, great food and great drinks. Highly recommend the 12oz Fillet and 16oz T- Bone. Both were cooked exactly as requested and when accompanied by the tasty sides, made it a memorable meal. Special mention to Monika who looked after us - what a great asset to this restaurant. She was so pleasant and helpful and took an interest in her guests.
