We paid $3,000 for a two-week board-and-train program. While it wasn’t specifically advertised as aggression-focused, that was one of the main reasons we reached out — we needed help managing tension and fights between our dogs. The only noticeable improvement after training was better leash manners and a few basic commands. There were no in-home sessions, and the aggression issues that led us to seek help were never addressed. After bringing our dog home, we reached out again because her aggression worsened as she was going into heat. It would often take several days for the trainer to respond or schedule a call, and when she finally did, her only suggestion was to buy a muzzle. There was no real follow-up, guidance, or willingness to help us work through the behavior. We were told we’d have lifetime support, but after the program ended, we received no meaningful communication or help. Later, we also learned the company had subcontracted our dog’s training to another trainer and kept $500 for themselves. It’s now been over a year and a half, and we’ve had to manage everything on our own. While we love our dogs and have made progress through persistence, the training offered very little long-term value or professional support. For the price we paid, we expected better communication, follow-through, and genuine care — unfortunately, that wasn’t our experience. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

We have taken two classes with Topline K9. We had our one-year-old in Leash Manners as well as Home Manners. Both instructors were great and so patient with our high energy enthusiastic puppy. Our goal is to have him pass CGC class and this is a great start!

I could not recommend Topline K9 more! I took my dog Charlie to the leash manners group class and loved it. It really strengthened our bond, resulting in the best walks we’ve ever had! We will definitely be back for more group classes and I will also be bringing my other dog, as well!

My 4 month old English Golden Retriever went to K9 Training School after exhibiting some dominance issues with me. The results were far beyond expectations. The team (Sylvie, Joel, & Ryan) were exceptional in their support and expertise. It was obvious how much they cared for me and my puppy. They worked to make sure that Juno's skills were transferred to me and I felt more confident in working with him. By the end of KTS, I had a different dog and a different relationship with him. I love that my dog lived with the trainer, not in a kennel. He received ongoing, in vivo training in the home and in public. He was treated as part of the family. But it does not end there, as a KTS graduate you continue to get the support of the classes to ensure that the skills transfer and you have continued support. I have used KTS, group classes and private lessons. I recommend all the services available by Topline K9 Solutions. The trainers love what they do and know their subject. I am so pleased with the results. Thank you Topline Team!

Two of our dogs were trained by Topline K9 Solutions. The three week live in training is amazing. My dogs can go everywhere with me because they are so well behaved. Noah was our first to enjoy the 3 week training . Joel Alexander trained my boy Charlie and of course he is doing amazing. Mark has trained private lessons with our third dog. We love these trainers and how friendly and experienced they are.
