TMA has totally changed my life. In the past year I picked up Piano with no previous experience! And now I play everyday. In-person lessons were a game changer for me when YouTube just wasn’t cutting it. Megumi has been a phenomenal teacher. I was shocked at the caliber of highly educated (PhDs) and experienced musicians this school has to offer.
My daughter started piano lessons here when she was 6. She is 9 now and she has bloomed and learned so much in just 3 years. They have the best teachers. David is amazing, welcoming and so easy to talk to.
I am an adult learner who could not even read musical notation before, and didn't know anything about classical instrument. It has almost been a year that I attend a violin class at TOMA, and needless to say that David and Yosef have introduced me into the world of music! Special shout out to Yosef Tamir who is an excellent violin teacher. He makes music makes sense to me, and I come to really love it now. Thank you, TOMA!
I had been yearning to get back to learning piano since I took lessons as a child. Toronto Music Alliance gave me a sense of belonging right away! All the teachers are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I feel confident in learning with the personalized guidance my teacher provides. I have an amazing experience every lesson!
Our daughter started taking piano classes with Greg half a year ago and we couldn’t be more thankful for this opportunity. We were looking for a piano teacher as her former teacher relocated out of Toronto and we got in touch with a few piano teachers. From the first phone conversation with David (the owner) we knew that this is our place. David is very kind, truly passionate about what he does (not only does he run the place but he’s also a phenomenal instructor), very diligent and keen to help in any situation. We receive monthly newsletters which are informative and so fun to read. Even more, we love the fact that the students have the opportunity to participate in different events organized by the school or in events representing the school. Not to mention the chance to go for free to music events sponsored by other institutions that the music school collaborates with. The school itself is so pretty and the instruments are of the highest quality. Thank you ToMA for everything!
