This is not only one of the best studios of yoga in Bristol but one of the best places in the city period. I have so much to thank to the team of lovely teachers throughout the time I've been a member. If you want somewhere to start or improve your practice this is a great place to do either.
This studio is such a perfect little haven on a busy street. It’s always got such a nice vibe and the staff are so welcoming and kind to everyone. They have such a wide range of practices, whether you want something incredibly challenging or relaxing, there’s something for everyone. Their pregnancy yoga and mum & baby classes are also fantastic, with time for tea and biscuits with other mums post-class. I found them during the pandemic when they hopped onto remote teaching well before anyone else did and they legitimately salvaged my mental health during that time. Grateful for the opportunity to practice in person with them now.
My daughter and I did a 4 week introduction to yoga course with Hannah and loved it. She is a great teacher, knowledgeable and encouraging. I would highly recommend these courses. Plus their introductory pass for people new to Trika is great - giving you the chance to try different classes. Love the choice of classes and we have stuck with it. We have had various instructors and they have all been friendly, supportive and offer options throughout the different classes guiding you so you can work at your own level. We have never felt intimidated and my daughter has no qualms about going to the classes on her own. She even gets up early before school to do the yin yang flow with Hannah. A favourite class to start the day, with both a gentle and energising flow. It's nice to have choice of styles available to pick from in the morning.
This studio is great. Clean, calm, minimal and beautiful. I love Jo Green's Rocket class on a Tuesday. She epitomises good yoga teaching: present, not trying too hard, clear (instructions), challenge and the very rare commodity: fun 😊 🤸🏻 Don't go to her class because I don't want it to get too busy, I like that I can get a mat at the front 🤪
