I don't care who recommended you go somewhere else that isnt Ms. Trinh's. Ignore them. Come here. She is one of the kindest and most talented individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting. I originally took a different blue dress to her and Ms. Trinh told me point blank the cost to hem the original dress was going to be more than what I paid for the dress itself. (Apparently the hem of the dress had enough fabric to make three separate dresses according to Ms. Trinh) She refused to hem it until I took the weekend to look for something different and less expensive to alter. 😆 She held onto the original dress and marked it so if I didnt find something new I liked I could call her once the weekend was over and she could start hemming immediately. Luckily for me I found this purple dress that reminded me of Meg from Disney's Hercules and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! She even helped me pick out jewelry between several options I brought to her to get her opinion on! Basically, if you want full and candid honesty up front about what's possible, fair prices, amazing work done, and a lovely smile to go with it all, come to see Ms. Trinh's. Trinh at Trinh's Alterations is incredible! Trinh works by accepting walk-ins only. She is so sweet, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I took my dress in to be altered a few months before my wedding and she made it fit perfectly. We had to alter the straps (shorten them) and since I had a summer wedding Trinh removed a few layers from my dress. We also had to hem my dress and Trinh did everything she could to keep as much of the lace trim on the bottom as possible. All work was completed on time and Trinh was communicative about follow-up fitting appointments. I would absolutely return for any future alteration needs. Thank you Trinh! You made my dress fit so perfectly for our wedding day!

Trinh is amazing! I had her alter four dresses of varying complexity in fall 2025 and she did a great job at reasonable prices for the simple ones and the more detailed work. She did a hem and adjusted the straps in the dress in this photo to make it shorter in the bodice for me. It literally looks like it was custom made for me and I was so thrilled with it!

Trinh did an amazing job with my dress for a formal event! I needed the side zipper redone, hemming and work on the neckline, and she pulled it off with such elegance and in record time. I can’t wait to wear this dress and would highly recommend working with her!

Trinh's Alterations is the best place to go for any alterations! Trinh altered my bridesmaid dress for my friends wedding perfectly and custom made a dress shirt for my boyfriend as well. We were able to look and feel our best at the wedding all thanks to her. Her prices were very reasonable and she offered us really helpful advice. She communicates effectively, is organized, respectful and kind. There is no doubt we will be returning for our next alternations needs. A good thing to know before going is she is cash only!
