Taking our reactive pitbull to the vet is usually very stressful, but Karisma and Dr. Camacho were truly amazing. They handled our dog with so much patience and care and are hands down the best we’ve ever experienced. They were also very informative and transparent about fees and next steps, which we really appreciated. We left feeling relieved, supported, and grateful. Highly recommend Truss Vet Urgent Care in Durham!!

This was a pleasant experience while simultaneously experiencing an unpleasant experience with my sweet pet. I am undoubtedly pleased with Truss Vet Urgent Care. To have such a knowledgeable Veterinarian and welcoming Veterinarian technicians, made all the difference in the world. I was able to express the need for a larger litter box waiting for my pet’s arrival and was accommodated upon check in. The beautiful large windows allowed my pet and I to enjoy the moment of peace together from the chaos we’ve been moving through. Clean & peaceful environment. I was so grateful to be texted from each person whom was caring for him throughout the hours, knowing he was safe along the way. Thank you so much to the Truss Team for this experience! We unfortunately had to bring Cooper here twice in one week for tummy issues, but he received exceptional care both times. Dr. McMillan and nurse Carmela, as well as Dr. Camacho and nurse Emily, were incredibly kind, attentive, and thorough. After the second visit, Cooper cleared right up. We were especially grateful that they immediately sent his records to our regular vet and followed up with multiple check-in calls to see how our boy was doing. Emergencies are stressful, but the entire team made us feel supported and confident in his care. We would absolutely return here for any emergency needs for our animals.

We urgently visited Truss Veterinary Care after our 3yo Doxie got her paws on a CBD/THC gummy that we thought was safe from her reach. I called ahead to check her in while my husband grabbed her and was already on the road heading their way. They assessed her right away and informed us of the recommended treatment. Fortunately it was determined that her case was mild and with subcutaneous hydration and anti-emetics she was able to come home within 3 hours. They were professional, informative and treated our pup and her worried owners with kindness and compassion. It's comforting to know that if we ever need urgent care in the future we'll know they are ready to receive us.

I can't say enough good things about Truss . Every time I've brought my pups in the staff has been incredibly kind, attentive and patient. My poppy is naturally shy and gets nervous in new environments, but the team went above and beyond to make her feel safe and comfortable. They even sent her home with a bravery award which was such a thoughtful touch. I've visited a few times now and each experience has been consistently excellent.The wait times are short and the clinic is clean and calm, and the care is top-notch.It's clear that everyone there truly cares about animals.I am so grateful to have this kind of urgent care available when my regular vet is closed
