This is the best BBQ you will find in Jacksonville. The owner and staff are all some of the nicest people you will meet. The loaded bbq fries are an absolute must try, they are absolutely amazing!! Very fast service and it doesn't matter if you walk up and order or order ahead, we do both. If you order ahead and put and choose a specific time it will be ready at that time and not a minute later. When we know they are close to where we are we will always stop and get some great food and a few minutes of good conversation! You can not leave hungry you will get a lot of food for the money.

Twisted Oakie was at our men's event tonight at Reverb Church. Amazing brisket tacos and corn nuggets. So good!

Got their chicken tacos at the Jazz Fest. They have it described as large tacos on the Menu. They are not large size you could see the disappointment on the Customer's Face when the received their order. The chicken was dry with no flavor even after I added their sauces offered to the Customer.

This is hands down one of our favorite barbecue places—my dad and I both love it. The food is always flavorful and cooked to perfection. What really makes it special is the owner—super friendly, personable, and always takes time to chat and make you feel welcome. You can really tell they care about both the food and the people. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious! Got the spare ribs with the okra. Okra was super crispy and had a nice flavor. Ribs were great and the bbq sauce to go with made everything even better! Also, the owners/employees were very kind.
