Upyoga is a wonderfully inclusive yoga committee with incredible instructors and management. I love coming here! Great variety in class times and class range from super chill to highly challenging. I love that they added a weights class!

I have really enjoyed attending yoga classes at Up Yoga. I have felt very welcome even though I can’t always complete all the moves correctly. The instructors are supportive and willing to assist if asked. The environment is one of the most friendly I have been in.

I am in NJ and will likely never be in the studio, but I participated in the 10/10/10 event. I am thrilled that it was offered when so many of us around the country felt helpless. Minnesotans continue to inspire us, with protests and resistance that is not only non-violent, but often joyful. Thank you guiding us, meditating together.

I’m not interested in being apart of this studio any longer. Up Yoga does not practice equity or inclusion. You had an opportunity to have Native people in your space to be become trained practitioners. True equitable inclusion would have bended policy or changed it to accommodate those with whom you seek to include. I can only assume that Up Yoga does not practice equity or inclusion based on my experiences. Equity lies in the exception to policies that do not center those who have been marginalized. To practice true Equity would’ve been to change the policy. Your payment policy is not inclusive. Up Yoga treated me like I was trying to steal my first class. Lindsay- Studio Owner, treated me like I was trying to steal my first class and when I told her that I didn’t appreciate how she made me feel, she did absolutely nothing to remedy or provide any service recovery. In an email from Kelsey- Studio Manager, did the same… I do not need to be told how to use a credit card. Your intention might have been good, but to treat me like I do not understand after I am asking for accommodations is insulting and demeaning. I sent this in an email to the studio 4 days ago. I have yet to hear back from them. I have not afforded any respect or dignity throughout this process. I would refund for all the money I spent at the studio.
