Yeah good, personally im not too into bouldering, and i have no other gym as a point of reference, so keep that in mind throughout this review. For the first few times it was super fun and the earlier levels of boulder were good, but i feel that there is too large of a discrepancy within each level themselves, and i was told that the boulders changed every week but i think its a while longer than that as i had gone after 2 months and a couple walls didn’t change. aside from that the staff are kind and understanding, and keen to help. while the atmosphere is laidback and pretty welcoming, with large open space, enough for people to sit around. overall would recommend for new people looking to to boulder!

We had an awesome visit to Urban Climb Collingwood. Great community vibes - everyone supportive of one another and lots of stoke. There was a lovely craft market on at the same time in an awesome area with a great-looking spray wall, training boards, and comp wall. We just had a one-hour visit and did lots of purple and green routes. I really enjoyed the setting. Next time we're in Melbourne from Christchurch, I'll be back!

Very one dimensional setting with most 'hard' climbs being big moves to hard holds. Very heightist with no clear alternative beta for short strong climbers resulting in an overall poor session, taking to the kilter instead. Setters need to start thinking about more than just one hard or scary move to make a line. Lines also lack flow and dont test your technique, just your strengths and some footwork. It would be very worthwhile going to Urban in Adelaide or BlocHaus in Melbourne to upskill setting understanding.

My brother has a membership here and brought me along which I was very looking forward to because he loves it so much. The staff are very friendly and I can feel that it’s more than just a climbing gym it’s definitely a community spot too. Many people seem to know each other, they come here with their friends and meet new people too, it’s a great place for that because everyone’s super supportive and there are many people who come for the first time. I really enoyed bouldering for the first time and will try make the most of my free two weeks ^_^

I've been to other Urban Climbs outside of Victoria, and this one might be my favourite. The climbs are great and very varied - the kilter wall and wall you can climb on top of were fun and different! Upstairs seating is lovely with a great selection of books to read, very clean bathrooms. The staff were the highlight for me - I've climbed before, but had a little panic during my Collingwood visit mid climb, and as I was taking a calm down breather, a staff member was really kind and chatty :)
