I have been going to this location for over 20 years. I still love the panzerotti but tonight is the reason I'm writing a review, especially since I've visited the other location on Stoney Creek mountain a few times now and can compare. First, the service at both is similar, but tonight in Westdale, it was quite slow. It took 15 minutes to get some bread after we ordered our meals. Second, we wanted fries as an appetizer-explained that we will all share (3 adults and 2 kids). They brought the most pitiful amount of fries. I asked-is this a half order? Finally the waitress explained it's a child's fries. I don't understand how it could have cost $7 and why she didn't mention we'd get about 15 fries. I mentioned the other location's portion size and she said she didn't care what the other location has, as their menu is different. You'd think a chain of restaurants, sharing a website, would have consistency. Apparently you can't expect that from the two locations. See the image and you'll ask yourself the same thing! The location on the mountain charges $4.50 and you get more than double! The prices have continually gotten higher, and I don't like that the two menus at the locations are different, and this location seems more expensive. My last comment is about the chicken carbonara. They kindly agreed to make a child's size (half the adult size and for half the adult price), which we appreciated, but it was nothing like the other location, and it was so dry that she didn't like it at all. She didn't even eat half, even after adding some parmesan to try to help (see the image) and we got charged $14 for it. Not sure we'll be back to this location anytime soon.

5:stars as Valentino's thinks about persons with gluten allergies, and prepares delicious GF pizza and entrees. Comfortable seating, friendly service. Limited free parking on site only due their being busy on a Thursday evening. Takeout mason jars of their pasta sauces are available.

Found this fantastic Italian spot right in the heart of Hamilton and I'm so glad I did! The food is outstanding and both the pizzas and pastas are clearly made with care. The star of the show has to be the pizza: the base is absolutely perfect, and the homemade sauce is truly amazing. It’s the kind of meal that makes you plan your next trip before you’ve even left.

Such a great experience! We had the lasagna and shrimp and scallop pasta. Both were super delicious! You can really taste the attention to detail in the homemade lasagna. The complimentary focaccia was a little dry but had good flavour, and it was free, so who’s complaining! The service was awesome and the restaurant had a nice and clean atmosphere as well. Will definitely be back to try more off the menu!

We've been going to Valentino's for decades and the family tradition still lives on. From our server to the food, the environment, everything was absolutely phenomenal. I brought my brother in and his friend for dinner and they loved it!!! It's been years since my brother's been physically in the restaurant due to his abilities, I usually pick up take out for him. However none of us were disappointed, the meals were absolutely phenomenal, plenty of space to maneuver around with his wheelchair and serve him. From the lasagna, to the Caesar salad, the panzerott to the sausage pepper and Penne and the homemade garlic bread. You won't be hungry leaving here. thank you so much once again. HOOTS
