As someone buying from out of state and taking a leap into the Philadelphia market, Aaron and the Venture Philly team exceeded every expectation. I had been searching for my first investment property in my home state for over a year with no success. After finding Venture Philly, Aaron got on the phone right away, listened carefully to what I was looking for, and immediately committed to helping with the search. Within weeks, we had a great property under consideration. Aaron toured the property himself first, sent detailed feedback, and then recommended I travel to Philadelphia to see it in person. After that visit, we submitted an offer. Throughout the entire buying process, Aaron was my biggest advocate. He was extremely responsive, never pushy, and always patient with my questions and concerns. He also connected me with excellent partners, including insurance, a lender, and a home inspector who were all great to work with. A few days before closing, my original out-of-state lender tried to change the terms on me. I was in full panic mode, but Aaron stayed calm, contacted the seller, secured a one-week extension, and looped in his local lender, who got me approved in just 3–4 days. We successfully closed and I secured my first investment property. Even after closing, Aaron has remained just as responsive and supportive as he was from day one. Huge thanks to Aaron and the entire Venture Philly team. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy in Philadelphia, especially if you’re investing from out of state.

As first-time homebuyers, my wife and I were definitely a bit out of our depth. Luckily, our agent Scott was super friendly, approachable, and most importantly super available (like, responsive at times when it would have been very forgivable not to be... Go Birds). He was extremely patient with us and took the time to explain all the unintuitive little details that we now know come with purchasing a house. He also came along with us on all of our house tours, no matter how last minute, and no matter how skeptical we already were going into a particular property. And the house we wound up settling on was actually his find—he gave us a huge advantage by identifying the house almost immediately before it came on the market (I'm not sure it was even listed on Zillow yet). Our only gripe was with the software Venture uses for their digital signing—it's horrendous. Like, we probably wasted a couple hours because the signing software would keep resetting when a second person tried to access it, wiping out all of the many dozens of e-signatures we had already put in (also, I highly recommend working from a desktop computer if you can, as the software can be extremely frustrating using a trackpad on laptop, even when it's working properly... but I digress). Overall, 10/10 for the actual personnel, and I can't see any reason why we won't be working with Scott and Venture for the forseeable future.

Introduced to Scott Sepkowicz with the hope of looking at some areas of Philly that were growing with potential to buy in the future. Scott lined up so many beautiful houses, we could not help ourselves. He made every step of the home buying process so easy and answered every question we had. We work at odd nights of the day, and he always took time to make sure our concerns were always answered. He was able to negotiate with the sellers to cover thousands of dollars in closing costs, which took a huge financial burden off our shoulders. On top of that, he secured additional concessions that made the deal even better. Thank you Scott for making this process so easy and helping us find our dream home!
