Village Pantry Catering absolutely wowed us at our wedding! Every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the Fall Salad, the tender Boneless Beef Short Ribs with Merlot Sauce, and the Chicken Florentine: the flavors were incredible. The vegan chickpea stir fry was also was so thoughtful for our guests with dietary needs. But the biggest rave of the night? The shooters! The chocolate mousse, salted caramel custard, and apple crisp shooters were a total crowd favorite!! People are still talking about how good they were. Beyond the food, their setup was flawless. The presentation was elegant and so professional: napkins tied perfectly, everything spotless, and they even set up our chargers to create a full, beautiful vibe for the reception. They handled our food & desserts with care and made sure everything ran smoothly.
My husband and I (JoyBuilt Events) coordinated a wedding this weekend where Village Pantry did the catering and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Their staff is the absolute top notch! Every time I passed them during setup they would say "can we help with that? Do you need any help?" They were so kind, happy, helpful and efficient. They were ready ahead of schedule (in a good way) and were able to start dinner service early. The food was phenomenal (get the mashed potatoes!) all fresh and hot and delicious. As a coordinator, getting to work alongside people like this is the dream for every event. What a pleasure and well done!
We had the best experience with Village Pantry Catering!!! They had great communication throughout the planning, and made our wedding day so easy for us. The guests loved all the food! The crab dip, flank steak, and sage chicken were favorites. The staff was incredible- they had a charcuterie plate waiting on our sweetheart table for when we got back from our photos. And they offered to make my husband and I plates from the buffet, instead of us having to go through the buffet ourselves (my dress wasn't bustled yet). Which was sooo nice! I cannot say enough great things about them- highly recommend!!!
We chose to forgo a sit down dinner and go with heavy appetizers for our wedding a couple weeks ago! It was so nice for people to just get food and drinks throughout the night as they pleased! We had cheese conies, mini sandwiches, fruit trays and numerous dips ☺️ Throughout the planning process everyone I communicated with was so kind and responsive- especially Catherine and Amber. Thank you so much Village Pantry!! It was a pleasure ☺️
Jill and her team at the Village Pantry were such a pleasure to work with! They catered a sit down dinner and cocktail hour for our 80+ person wedding and did a fantastic job! They even accommodated our request for an all vegetarian meal selection. Both the food and service were phenomenal and our guests were raving afterwards. During cocktail hour, we were doing family photos, but the staff went out of their way to make sure we still got to have some of the appetizers. They went above and beyond and were truly all so pleasant! We highly recommend them for your catering needs. Also, if you have the opportunity to add the mini stuffed potatoes to your menu, we definitely recommend doing so!
