Tonight was our first time ever dining at Vincenzo's, we absolutely loved it. Phenomenal food, great atmosphere, absolutely fantastic service. We had an incredible time. We had the special for the night and the ravioli, along with the Caesar Salad, at the end of the night we decided to split 2 desserts because they're dessert portions were so big. 0 complaints, incredible and friendly staff, can't wait to come back.
This is my first visit here and I was impressed with this restaurant. It started with friendly valet parking, followed by a competent bartender. We were greeted by Vincenzo himself. He and his brother have run this restaurant for several decades. It is a Louisville staple and worth a visit. It is in an old bank building with lots of charm. We started with an appetizer. I had a cheese tortellini with a side. I had a Caesar salad with excellent dressing. We all had different entrees and everyone enjoyed their meals. I enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs. Each meal had lots of flavor. It was a lot of food so just about everyone took some home. We had two vegetarians in our party and the chef was able to make them meals without meat. They both enjoyed their meals. Dessert was delicious with the tiramisu taking the high honors. It was outstanding and it was an excellent ending to the meal. During our meal Vincenzo came by to check on us. That’s what I call personal service. If you have not tried one of the great Louisville restaurants then check out Vincenzo’s. Perhaps make it for a special occasion.
What a wonderful way to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary! I felt like we were royalty- the service was excellent and the food was excellent! We even received a free dessert with anniversary wishes. A little pricey, but so we'll worth it! The calamari was so tender and delicious!!
I went on Saturday evening with my mom and my aunt for a celebratory birthday dinner. Everything from beginning to end was excellent. We were greeted warmly and taken right to our table. Throughout the meal we had top notch service, great recommendations from our server for my aunt who is gluten-free, our water were never less than half full, and the meal was paced well. Our server was attentive without hovering. Before our meal, we tried the espresso martinis and they were excellent. I started with a half Caesar which was really good and for dinner I had a filet which was excellent and cooked a perfect medium rare. And finished with a delicious Belgian white chocolate cheesecake. The chef even wrote Happy Birthday on it and the server lit a candle for me. It was an unexpected touch that put a big smile on my face. At the table next to us an older couple was celebrating a birthday. Their server was taking their picture for them, laughing with them and clearly making their night special too. Great experience all around, highly recommend.
This was our first visit, we reserved a table for two and we sat at a high top in the bar. The service was excellent, (the timing of food was off a little), but our server compensated accordingly. We loved everything we ordered. The calamari was amazing as was the seafood pasta -both recommended by the bartender. The entire staff was professional & friendly. We will definitely be back.
