Had a really pleasant dinner here, was thoroughly amazed by the ravioli with gorgonzola cheese & pear, it was extremely delicious! Will definitely come back for that dish if I’m ever back in Edinburgh. The fish stew and tiramisu are also worthy mentions, it was very good! The foccacia was on the crispier side though, so we were not as used to it, but it was still nice nonetheless. Service by Hikary was also well done, she provided good reccomendations to the food that we ate as well. Overall a really good experience having dinner here :)
I was looking forward to had some classic carbonara after reading the reviews about how good the food is and authentic. The pasta was overcooked and the eggs were scrambled rather than a nice creamy sauce, the taste wasn’t great either. Very disappointing, I think the restaurant is overly rated.
You must eat here if you’re in the area. The food was delicious and so flavorful- we got the lasagna, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. As well as gelato, affogato, and kinder cheesecake, all were perfect, but the affogato was incredible. All of the menu items looked yummy we were wishing we were more hungry! Our server, Sam, was so kind and hospitable. All of the staff were great and the atmosphere is beautiful as well.
Amazing food and lovely service! The pasta and pizza were both outstanding and made the perfect first meal after our highland trip. Everything was delicious, and the half&half service was warm and attentive. Would absolutely come back next time I’m in Edinburgh.
The reviews and ratings never disappointed me 👌🏼 I had no idea about the restaurant, but considering it had such a high rating from 4,000 reviews, I figured I'd go, and I'm definitely glad I did. We had two incredibly delicious pizzas, an amazing minestrone, and an awesome gelato. The salted caramel and Sicilian pistachio are highly recommended. The profiterole’s chocolate was like a mousse, light but not my style. The prices are average. If you're in Edinburgh, definitely stop by 👍🏼
