Avoid at all costs! I can’t believe I let my bracelets get ruined by Wilber Adams. I wanted 4 links taken out of one bracelet and 6 out of the other and now several of the links are now misshapen, bumpy and sloppily put back together. I immediately brought it up to him he couldn’t see what I was talking about and tried to explain to me that it doesn’t lay flat because of the design. ??? One link has to lay upward and one flat. I was like YES I see the links have to sit like that but the actual links are now bumpy and uneven and not smooth. I had to show him over and over again and then he kept putting on the magnifying glasses and finally after arguing about its inherent design he was like okay maybe it needs more polishing. He was totally unprofessional and mansplaining my bracelet’s design to me enraged me. At that point I said forget it, I don’t want any more damage. I paid $120 to ruin my bracelets. Cmon now if someone can’t physically see they shouldn’t be doing detailed work on precious metals. I was referred to him because I happened to be walking by a jewelry store in chinook mall and they recommended I take my resizing needs to W. Adams, a local goldsmith. I would click zero stars if it were possible. Avoid at all costs!!

Fantastic service. I popped in yesterday to enquire if one of my rings could be fixed, due to the price of the actual ring (it was just a cheap one) and the cost to fix it I opted out but I did get a different ring resized that I was gifted from my grandma, it was ready today at a very reasonable cost and it looks so nice and shiny again! Very happy and will recommend your services to everyone.

Do not recommend getting a gold chain fixed here. I took in three gold chains to get fixed. All three gold chains were fixed with a different colour, almost a rose gold. Very visible on all three chains. And he told me I should have let him know I wanted it fixed with same colour. Pretty sure it’s his job to tell me it will be a different colour. I’ve had one of these chains fixed before and never had this issue. 10/10 do not recommend as after our conversation and me pointing out defects he was rude and unprofessional.

Wilber helped me with shopping for an engagement ring, and then made a ring that my partner loves. He was also friendly and quick, and worked within my budget. He also met with us to get a clear idea of what her we wanted and was made it really easy for us. I Cannot recommend him enough.
