When I started looking for a career coach, I didn't really know what a career coach was--I just new I wanted to change my career. Now I think career coach probably means different things for different people, depending on where you are at in your life, and your specific needs. I can tell you for me, I am very pleased that I found Dawn. She has been an excellent guide and mentor through this process. She is incredibly supportive, and also provided very tangible, practical actions to take towards figuring out a career. For me, I found myself networking and researching in ways that may not have thought of without Dawn's help. I was able to really sit down and evaluate my strengths. I was also able to cut through all the reasoning and rationalizing of why something might not work, and get to the heart of what is really important. I appreciated her wholistic approach. Discovering a career is important, but it doesn't happen in a nutshell. Career and personal life are intertwined, and both were discussed with lots of support and understanding. Ultimately, very happy over all with the entire experience. Thank you, Dawn!

I found Dawn while I was confused and unhappy and afraid to do something about it. I had no idea what to do. Dawn immediately heard me, my fears, my strengths and my passion and together we created a detailed, difficult and extremely rewarding plan for me. I am still in amazement on how much I have changed in such a short period of time. It was challenging but so rewarding and Dawn kept me focused, encouraged, happy and determined the whole way through. Her insight was always spot on and I always learned something new and relevant in our sessions. The group sessions were extremely beneficial and opened my eyes to new things. The process was scary to start out but she kept me motivated and encouraged. I can not thank her enough for the support, knowledge and kindness through such an important change in my life!

I found Dawn on Yelp when I was 4 months postpartum and desperate to balance between work and being a first-time mom in this pandemic. I was struggling with several aspects of my life and feeling really lost. I'm so glad that I found Dawn. In a way, she changed my life. In one of our group sessions, we were asked to use one word to describe the person next to you. I described Dawn as an "Educarer". First, she educates and inspires. She challenges my attitudes and perspective, holds me accountable for my micro actions, help me see my career path and set up achievable goals. Then she really takes care of my feelings and emotionally guides me to grow and pivot. She directs me to see the potentials I've never discovered in me and asks questions that are truly mind-opening. After my 90-day plan, I have successfully pivoted my career to a new direction that I'm deeply passionate about. Now I feel I am unstoppable and I will definitely use the techniques Dawn taught me to navigate through future career challenges.

I found Dawn through reading numerous positive reviews online, and from our initial phone consultation, I had a good feeling about working with her based on the questions she asked and how direct she was about expectations and the whole process. She was clear, succinct, organized and had really great listening skills. From that initial conversation, I decided to invest in myself and work with Dawn to help me fulfill my career and personal goals, and I am SO GLAD I did! I was in my place in my career and life where I felt stagnant, and wanted to find more purposeful work. She helped me uncover and explore my passion in art, and I felt encouraged and supported throughout my decisions. Each session with Dawn was focused and left me with meaningful and manageable "assignments", which helped me get closer and closer to my goals. It also helped me develop some habits I'm really proud of and continue to maintain after our sessions concluded. I truly feel the work I did with Dawn helped me feel more confident in my direction. Dawn is truly gifted in her abilities to ask questions you would have never thought to ask yourself. Dawn was recommended to me by a friend. I'm located in NYC, so I have to say I had my doubts about working with a coach through virtual sessions. Immediately after speaking with Dawn, I knew she was the right coach for me, and all doubts melted away. Our virtual sessions were incredibly powerful. After only a few sessions, I became aware of my interests, and what paths to explore. From there, Dawn helped me take action, something I never knew I was capable of. My fears and road blocks along the way were met with compassion and understanding. While creating a gentle space, Dawn simultaneously found a way to encourage me, never letting me give up on my dreams. With each small step Dawn guided me to take, I tapped into an inner resourcefulness that has since allowed me to start making some really big life changes.
