Woodhouse Spa - Bottleworks

I hosted a group of 14 ladies for a wonderful spa morning. We has a fabulous experience enjoying the quiet room, a unique charcuterie board and a mimosa and hot tea bar. All of the ladies enjoyed their services and the staff was so attentive to our needs. A big shout out to Candace Jost, spa manager, who accommodated all our special requests. She was wonderful to work with! The girls are now talking about our next visit!

After being a loyal customer at Woodhouse for many massages, I decided to try something new and booked the Shirodhara Scalp Massage. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing, and I feel I should share it so others know what to expect. It was clear from the start that the therapist was not yet proficient in the treatment. She shared with me that this was only her second time performing Shirodhara. The technique requires a steady, warm stream of oil, but instead, I felt an uncomfortable dripping on my forehead—which was so unpleasant I had to ask her to stop after just three minutes. I was told this dripping portion alone would last 20-25 minutes of the 50-minute session, which felt excessive, especially given the treatment was more expensive than other massages offered. The setup was also uncomfortable. The bed couldn’t be angled properly, so she placed a bolster under my knees, but it was directly against my skin without a sheet. My legs stuck to the plastic, and the warm towel she provided later cooled and became a damp, cold layer. Warm towels were also wrapped around my feet and forgotten, eventually turning cold and wet until I had to remove them myself. Overall, the massage felt sporadic, with very little time spent on the actual scalp massage, leaving the session feeling incomplete and poorly executed. I was hesitant to write this, but given how upsetting the experience was—and the premium price paid—I believe it’s important for both the business and future clients to be aware.

Exactly what I needed. Fluffy robes, slippers, calm lighting and a quiet place to relax. Natalie did my facial and was top notch. Very knowledgeable, kind and thorough. She wasn’t pushy about what I needed. She informed and answered all my questions fully. My face felt and looks so much better and I have confidence that following her advice and going on this journey with her will yield the results I want. Samantha completed my massage and was equally as talented. She was exactly what I look for in a professional massage therapist. Quiet, calm and able to work out the areas that needed it. Very professional and capable of handling deep tissue massages. Would highly recommend them both.

Keesha at Woodhouse Spa is absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond by surprising me with a thoughtful birthday and graduation touch after my massage, which meant so much to me. I left feeling incredibly refreshed, renewed, and appreciated.

What a wonderful experience! David and Samantha were amazing! David did our restorative sleep massage and Samantha our bath soak. 🤩 I have to make this a regular treat because this was a top notch experience. I feel so rested. It’s crazy how these treatments have relaxed me so much and I’m no stranger to massages and bath soaks. This place has been a true blessing. The price is worth the experience and the result. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I took my sister with me and it was both our first time. Everyone was so friendly and professional. Everything was perfect. Thank you all so much.
