After a disappointing set of A level results, my son decided to retake his exams. John's online A level Biology "master classes" have really helped him identify his weaknesses and turn them around.The focus on exam technique has been just what he needed and in his recent mocks, he applied many of John's insights to his other subjects too, lifting all his grades by two marks each. We will keep working with John until the summer exams. My son feels much more confident about getting in to the courses he wants to access at university. Thank you!

I've been tutored by John Ankers in Biology since GCSE all the way through to A Levels, and I can confidently say he’s been absolutely fantastic. He's incredibly engaging and passionate about the subject, always finding ways to make complex topics easier to understand. He’s also been resilient and supportive throughout my journey, constantly challenging me to do better. I highly recommend Dr Ankers, who quickly identified my son’s weaknesses with his A level Biology studies and worked on them consistently, helping to develop his confidence and knowledge. He simplified topics by breaking them down into sequential ‘stories’ and helped my son to gain marks through a more logical approach to questions. With Dr Anker’s support, a C during mocks became an A this summer.

Our son had online German tutoring to support his GCSE. Sammy was very helpful ensuring he was covering all the required elements and was in a confident position with the speaking element. Pleased to say he got a 9 and is going on to study German A level. Thanks for all your support.

Approached Dr Ankers when I was consistently scoring Bs in all of my mock exams, despite needing an A to get into my chosen university. I ended up achieving an A* and this would not have been possible without the support and guidance from Woolton Tutors.
