Best yoga studio in Nola!

I went to Mission Yoga in the Castro in SF for a hot 26 and it made me appreciate this studio and the instruction from the yoga teachers way more than I already do. Mission yoga didn’t have a proper locker room, it didn’t feel very clean, when I asked to rent a grip towel I was given a white bath towel, and to top it off, the lady teaching was 7 minutes late and moved extremely fast through the postures. Yes yoga has set a high standard for what I expect when I travel to other yoga studios.

I love love love Yes Yoga!!! Will forever be a loyal student at this studio. Gabriela is an excellent teacher. Her knowledge of anatomy encourages students to deepen into postures while avoiding injuries. Her vinyasa class is both challenging and exciting, and I appreciate the way she encourages students to push themselves. And.. her playlists are fire 🔥 Marquela is one of the best 26&2 teacher’s that I’ve had the opportunity to practice under. She explains each posture in depth and helps you to experience traditional postures in a new way, even ones that I’ve been practicing for 10+ years. Her guidance throughout the class is always spot on. Ciara’s workshops are not to be missed! I recently attended her handstand workshop & hip opening/splits workshop and they were both incredibly thorough.

Dropped in for the hot vinyasa at noon during the week. Although it wasn't the flow I was expecting, I can respect the practice & the space. Bonus points for the infrared heating panels & well-appointed locker facilities. Beautiful studio!

Yes yoga is the best!! It’s such a vibe and so calming while also getting a great workout in. You must go to Gabriella’s classes, she is THE best! She will push you so you get the most out of your class! There are also many other great instructors! They offer so many different class times throughout the day so it’s perfect to work around your schedule. I recommend doing the monthly unlimited pass it’s so worth your money and pretty affordable.
