I’ve attended two classes at yoga and beyond and both have been wonderful. What I’ve loved so far: 1. My 10-year-old daughter is welcome! 2. Instructors gave just the right amount of instruction to make sure I’m doing the poses properly. 3. Classes Challenged me in new ways. 4. The studio space is warm and has windows to let natural light in. I look forward to more classes there.

As a complete beginner, I signed up for the discounted intro package and sampled a range of classes with different instructors. While a few were too advanced for absolute newbies, I quickly found classes appropriate for my skill level, and have even improved enough to tackle the classes that I found daunting as a newbie. Every class has its own distinct style, and the offerings are varied enough that I can visit several times a week and still get a unique experience each time. The instructors are clear and supportive of a variety of skill levels, always making me feel welcome. The studio itself has a cozy and welcoming vibe in the heart of Kensington, and I hope to keep practicing there regularly.
