Yoga Bear Computer Repair

After spilling a full cup of coffee on my laptop, I called Ken expecting the worst. He picked up right away and had my computer with him within about 30 minutes. He took the whole computer apart, cleaned everything thoroughly, and saved it. The last time I dealt with a spill, the Apple Store told me it couldn’t be repaired and I had to replace the Mac entirely — so Ken’s work was a huge relief. My laptop is now working perfectly. Excellent communication, fast service, and truly above-and-beyond care. Highly recommended, five stars!

Ken definitely knows his stuff when it comes to fixing computers, no doubt. But where he really helped me was with USER error. He was very patient and thorough when it came to figuring out what was wrong with my machine and my stupid brain. Highly recommend!

My laptop died. I reached out to 3 local computer repair shops. One responded right away. One never responded. Yoga bear took a few days, but did eventually get back to me via text. They asked me a bunch of troubleshooting questions, and after discussing how they charge $119 for a diagnostic (whether they can fix the computer or not) I went with a different option. Polite guy. Seemed like a professional service. Just not the business model I would choose.

Yoga Bear has been a fantastic local resource to help deal with our computer issues. We've used them at least 3 times in the last few years for problems with both our mac laptops as well as a PC gaming computer/tower. Their response time is wonderful and I generally get a callback from one of the owners minutes after leaving a message. They have responded after hours and on weekends equally fast. They have always fixed our issues at minimal expense. I never got the feel that they were overcharging and they were knowledgeable and forthcoming about what would be covered under warranties if I were to go directly to Apple, etc. These guys are experts and I highly recommend!

The team at Yoga Bear Computer Repair is awesome. Michael is a super communicator, corresponding with me via text and email to order parts and schedule the pickup time. My MacBook Pro was in need of a new battery and it also had some fan noise that didn't sound so good. The technician who picked up my laptop was Tim, and he took it, fixed it and brought it back. Turns out I didn't need a new fan! Tim found a piece of a cheerio in there, cleaned the whole thing out and didn't charge any extra. So my bill was actually LESS than the estimate. I really appreciate it! Something else to point out is Yoga Bear's rate to replace the battery beat the Apple Genius Bar rate. Michael also gave me a choice of two different batteries, one economy choice and an upgraded choice. I will definitely use them again if I ever need to. Thanks Yoga Bear for the excellent quality and prompt service.
