More than 20 years ago, I stumbled across a tiny jewellery repairer tucked away in an arcade somewhere between Flinders and Bourke Street. I needed a new watch battery and was met with instant service and a genuine smile. Ever since, it’s bothered me that I couldn’t remember exactly where it was. Recently, with a collection of jewellery needing repairs, I made it my mission to find them again—and success! They’re wonderfully easy to locate in the arcade with Starbucks on the corner, directly opposite Town Hall. Julie was exceptional. Not only did she greet me with a warm smile, but she offered thoughtful advice and practical solutions for every piece I brought in—including a pile of treasured antiques from my late grandmother. Communication was excellent, with regular updates throughout the process. I couldn’t be happier that I found them again after all these years.
