Great little spot for brunch. The views were great and the people were terrific!
We arrived with a large group on short notice on a Wednesday afternoon, and 1898 Public House handled it with remarkable professionalism. The staff was gracious, accommodating, and immediately made us feel welcome. The food was both thoughtfully presented and beautifully executed. The beer-battered fish and chips were crisp and refined, the New York steak was prepared exceptionally well, and the Signature Burger and Caprese Piadina were equally impressive. Desserts were a standout—the turtle cheesecake and crème brûlée were indulgent without being heavy. Cocktails were confidently poured, and the huckleberry lemonade was impossible to resist. Zac elevated the entire experience. He was polished yet personable, attentive without being intrusive, and brought a natural warmth and wit that made the evening feel special. An excellent dining experience from start to finish—one we will gladly repeat.
Our first time here and the hubby & I enjoyed the atmosphere. The shareable Tableside ahi tuna & the Blackened shrimp cobb salad were delicious. The service was perfect! Courtney's customer service was genuinely friendly, the best kind of service. She made our experience a great one.
We had lunch at the 1898 Public House today. There was plenty of seating at noon. Our orders were taken quickly and our meals arrived soon after ordering. There were lots of great menu items to choose from. The Wedge Salad was $14; chicken ($7) added. The Blackened Shrimp Cobb Salad was $17. We felt the prices were very reasonable. The presentation of the food was beautiful and it was delicious. This was my first visit and I know I will return. It was a hot day, but there were several golfers on the course. The views of the golf course were beautiful! Creme Brulee for dessert!
We enjoyed everything about this experience. We had a very attentive server. The music was very nice. The view was beautiful. The food was yummy. We shared the grilled salad. My husband ate grilled salmon with crab. I tried the chicken cordon bleu. We shared the creme brulee.
