Acupuncture Plus

I just want to say that #1 I am proof acupuncture works. And #2 I am so glad I found Dr Wang and his practice. I got to his office with a terrible plantar fasciitis that was affecting the quality of my life at 360 degree. I could not leave my house and even moving within the house was difficult and extremely painful. Boot, exercises, nothing worked. The podiatrist said if I did not get better in three weeks, he would give me a steroid injection. i was like can I have it now?!! The answer was no. And that's when I googled acupuncture near me and I found Acupuncture Plus. Scheduling was very easy. My first treatment was with Dr Wang and Dr Li assisted to the free consultation. And both of them gave me treatment. This was a Saturday. The following week Dr Wang was out of his office and I kept seeing Dr Dongmei Li. She is amazing. Two more appointments with her so far.I feel so much better that after only 3 treatments total I already went back dancing and planning on dancing more soon. All this in addition to walking my dog, getting groceries (normal life things after just one treatment.) It feels so good and almost unreal. I feel so fortunate to have me them. They are incredible.

I was motivated to have a natural labor and birth, I had never had acupuncture before. One day before my due date I found Dr. Wang he saw me and 30 minutes after my inquiry I had acupuncture performed. Dr. Wang was attentive and gentle, I could tell he was passionate and in tune with his practice. I don’t know how directly a acupuncture helped with my labor but after acupuncture I could feel a slight shift / warmness in my body. That evening I started having mild labor symptoms and had my baby 2 days later. The experience was better than what I prayed for!

I first saw Dr. Guoen Wang when I was diagnosed with Occipital Neuralgia. For almost five months I had chronic pain near my ear and neck. The pain caused severe tension headaches. I saw several doctors. Treatments consisted of antibiotics, a steroid pack, Catscan, MRI, two painful nerve blocks and finally a prescription that gave me side effects (ringing in my ears and memory problems). None of the treatments were successful. The last doctor actually suggested acupuncture. I chose Dr. Wang after reading his great reviews. In just one visit my chronic pain was gone. I barely felt the needles. It was very relaxing and he even played calming music. He also provided an herbal supplement to reduce inflammation. I went back for another treatment and asked for another bottle of the herbal supplement. I doubt I'll need anymore treatments. Suffice it to say, I will not hestitate to go back to Dr. Wang for any future health issues. My sister saw my success and she's making an appointment for chronic shoulder pain. I am so grateful for Dr. Wang!

If I could give Dr. Wang 10 stars I would. I agree with the former reviewer who said "He should have a line out the door". I am more than happy about my acupuncture results and have shared these results with my Internal Med. Dr. and my Gastroenterologist. Dr. Wang is a gentle, attentive humble Dr. who seems to be an expert in acupuncture. He is someone who listens to his patients and cares about their needs. In the past year I have had grief related digestive/gut issues which included bloating, constipation and GERD. My symptoms had disappeared within a short amount of time after receiving acupuncture because I chose to have back to back appointments and then less of them toward the end. I also made sure to maximize my progress by doing my part by continuing to eat healthy, exercising and making time for myself with relaxation. Dr. Wang will help you if your symptoms return with herbal teas and other techniques. The best part for me is that I was able to get off of 2 medications! Dr. Wang's staff is personable and welcoming. They greet you every time you enter their office. They are superb! I have some of Dr.Wang's green books and will be giving them to anyone who is interested in an excellent acupuncture experience. THANK YOU DR. WANG!!

Dr. Wang is truly the best and one of the best people and medical providers I have found in Austin!! I am so grateful to have found Acupuncture Plus and Dr. Wang over five years ago now, and I honestly rarely ever go to Western doctors anymore. From allergies, anxiety, colds, sinus infections, cough, Reynaud’s and any other sickness I’ve had over the years, Dr. Wang has fixed me right up with acupuncture and herbs, and I’ve referred countless number of friends, family and clients. Thank you Dr. Wang from the bottom of my heart for your care and professionalism throughout the years!!
