The food here is absolutely delicious — generous portions, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Every dish we ordered was satisfying and well cooked, especially the pasta and pizza. It’s easy to see why this place is so popular. That said, the seating is very tight. The tables are close together and the portion sizes are quite big, so it can feel cramped. At times, the staff had to move our chairs to pass through, which made the space feel even narrower. It’s great for a lively group dinner, but probably not ideal if you’re looking for a quiet or intimate date night. Overall, the food quality really stands out and makes it worth visiting despite the lack of space. A busy, energetic spot with excellent food — just be prepared for a cosy (very cosy!) dining experience.

Amalfi is one of the best Italian restaurants in Adelaide. The pizza was full of flavour, and the pasta (we had the Con Pollo) was absolutely delicious. The starter (fried eggplant) was excellent as well. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We had an incredible Italian meal here. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and came in surprisingly generous portions for the price. The service was warm and attentive, and the overall atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. Everything was delicious, but the calzone was the real standout — absolutely phenomenal. I don’t usually go for vegetarian options, but this one completely won me over. It was rich, balanced, and satisfying in every bite. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for authentic, hearty Italian food in a friendly setting.

Everything we had was yum! Particularly the Amalfi pasta and the tiramisu. The mussels were not the freshest but the seasoning was just perfect. The pizza we ordered had lots of toppings, but the flavors felt a bit muddled.

it is no surprise this joint is busy everyday as food is really good. oysters are a litlle small but fresh and each bite brings you back to the ocean. pasta is well executed and sauce is tasty. minestrone soup is served hot and warms the stomach. service is friendly though you do have to wait sometimes cos they are really busy. food is also served relatively quicker then we expected, despite the crowd. inside can get rather noisy so choose to sit outside if you prefer a quiet meal.
