I truly appreciate the ease of their online website to schedule an appointment. I booked an appointment for the same day. I was called back quickly and the Doctor was attentive, honest and listened to my concerns. My symptoms and medical history required further investigation than they could provide and I completely understood. I was giving great recommendations for specialists nearby!
I was so glad to find a walk-in clinic that accepted my new Marketplace insurance AND it was open on a weekend! They were wide open for availability, so I made an appt over the phone for that same afternoon in fewer than 2 hours. After arrival, the nice young man at the front desk took my info and checked me in, then within 5 seconds of being seated the young male nurse called me back and took all my vitals. Very pleasant and professional. It didn't take long for the doctor to come into the examination room. No more than a 10-15 minute wait. He was pleasant, had a nice bedside manner, actually LISTENED to what I had to say about my illness and when it first started, my symptoms, what I've done to try to alleviate it, etc. He quickly did the usual exams, and confirmed my suspicion that it was bronchitis. Told me the form of treatment, antibiotic, steroid. Since I'd never had a steroid shot before, he chose to go with a daily pill instead just in case I had an allergic reaction to it. So thoughtful and considerate to think of that. When I filled the Rx, I discovered he had also prescribed an inhaler, which also has been helpful. It's about a 12 mile drive from my house, but it is very convenient that they're open weekends and evenings too, and they weren't booked solid on the weekend. So I'll drive that distance for that convenience. Plus, they only charged the Primary Care copay instead of the higher Urgent Care copay. Greatly appreciated for the cost savings!
My visit was very good! There was a misunderstanding about health insurance and the office worked with me to fix it! Nurse Verlato was amazing! Dr. Hannah Chilcote was amazing as well! My blood pressure was through the roof! Dr. Chilcote prescribed meds for me and offered to be a primary care. Couldn't find better care than this!
I came in 30 minutes prior to closing and I was seen quickly. The person at the front was so kind and had a bubbly personality. She was a great first impression. I didn't have to wait long at all to see the provider (Aira, a Nurse Practitioner), and the nurse, Sara, was really kind. I left with an answer to my issue, some prescriptions sent to my pharmacy, and was very happy with the quality of care.
I wanted to share my recent experience attempting to visit the Nolensville Rd clinic yesterday. I made an advance appointment as I was feeling unwell, and when I arrived your Wait List showed 1 checked in / advance appointment (me) and then two walk-ins. The lady at the front desk very oddly billed my HSA card $20 ahead of the visit, even though I have met my maximum out of pocket for the year with my insurance and there should not have been any co-pay applied at all (I also confirmed this post visit with the insurance company) So I sit in the lobby for 30 mins past my appointment watching the two walk ins be seen, and other people also start showing up. So I ask the front desk how much longer to be seen and she tells me likely another 20 mins or so but she cant guarantee anything. So I ask her to cancel my visit and refund the erroneous $20 co-pay charged to ky card. She claims to do so, but offers no receipt showing my card has been refunded to I cant be sure she even processed the refund. After wasting an hour of my time, I drive right down the street to the Kroger Little Clinic and they immediately saw me - no co-pay, no wait. Something is just not right with this Nolensville office....
