LONG POST ALERT ⚠️ This location at Edmonson pike is very unprofessional and unorganized... I've had a few incidents that I wanted to make the public aware of. I have a son and just had a new baby and also just moved and wanted to find a pediatricians office closer to my home... 1st red flag, the sick child area is basically in the same area as the well child area and there was clearly an older sick child violently coughing in the well child area... thats that. Ok. I had a total of four appointments before i called it quits and EVERY SINGLE APPOINTMENT I had to give my ID and insurance card for them to "scan" it into the system. EVERY. TIME. on the 3rd time the receptionist said they she would bring me my ID and insurance card to the room because the doctor was ready to see us. Well she never came and no one was even at the desk when it was time for us to leave so my husband had to walk and FIND someone and tell them we needed my things. Now what if I had forgot! UN--PRO--FES--SIONAL! During the appointment they ask the typical newborn questions but one was are you breastfeeding or formula feeding? I answer and Im watching them type it into her file... sooooo why am I answering the SAME QUESTION at all 4 visits. Smh. Another red flag. We came again because I realized the doctor at the hospital told me to get a certain test done and we hadn't done it. Now granted it was an impromptu appointment but I was there for over 2 HOURS!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! on the same visit the doctor comes in reading information from ANOTHER CHILDS FILES THINKING IT WAS FOR MY BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me!!!?!?!? So now. Im just over it. I message through the portal and ask for my kids records to be sent back over to our original pediatrician because at this point I would rather make the drive than come here. Dr Felecia and I were in active communication before we could even finish our conversation SHE HAD ALREADY TAKEN ME OUT THE SYSTEM!!!!!!!!! Within 10 MINUTES of writing!!! I got a notification that I had a message on the portal and went to log in to read it and couldnt log in anymore!!! This is not the place for me. Not to mention how many times ive called just for them to pick up the phone and say tennessee pediatrics please hold and just CLICK! LOL I cannot make this up. This place lacks. Just lacks!
Dr. Ahmed has been my pediatrician since I was young. Though at times she may be stern, she cares for her patients almost like family. It has been truly a pleasure to be under her care for so many years and I recommend her for your children as well.
We have been going to TN Pediatrics for almost 10 years. We love Dr Spanier! He’s great at giving information and laying out your options. He really listens to all the details and never rushes you.
Nice place with amazing Doctors. When your child gets sick you don't have to wait days until someone could see your child. My children were seen by almost all doctors of clinic on different occasions and all of them are professionals with high knowledge. We absolutely love our pediatric doctor Dr. Nazneen Ahmed, for over 6 years she was my children's pediatrician and I can say about her loving and caring heart. 6 years ago when my daughter was born we were looking for pediatrician who got experience and could look after all our 3 kids after we moved to Nashville, our friends recommended Dr. Ahmed and only after one visit we new that she is professional with life long experience. Now we have 4 kids and all of them under Dr. Ahmeds care. Thank you.
The only experience I have had with this location was speaking with a practitioner, Nazneen Ahmed, who was the on-call physician covering for the Berry Farms location recently. I do not often feel compelled to make bad experiences public but if I were a parent considering this location, I would want to know. I have a three-year-old son with Down syndrome who we noticed had a very large unusual bulge in his abdomen a few weeks ago. Of course, our minds jumped to several possibilities. When I called the on-call line and was connected to Dr. Ahmed, I immediately picked up on a tone that seemed to me like she was very inconvenienced and ready to be off the phone. She essentially told me to book an appointment and got irritated when I briefly asked her if she might have any ideas of what it could possibly be. There was just no compassion or care and the conversation was extremely rushed. She hardly said “goodbye” before hanging up. Anyway, no bedside manner, which is not what I would want in a pediatrician. After processing this with a couple others who have had experiences with her as well, I don’t think this type of behavior was a one-off thing. The practitioners I’ve had experience with at Berry Farms, Thompson’s Station, and Hendersonville are a completely different story - absolutely incredible people. Go there!
