So grateful I found Animal Health Care Center after relocating to Texas! Dr. Brown has been amazing to work with. Shortly after establishing care, we discovered a mass on my 10yo boxer mix. After some testing, it was determined to be a MCT and we scheduled surgery right away. On surgery day, Dr. Brown and staff did a full scan and tested every little lump and bump, and found another MCT on my sweet boy. Because of Dr. Brown and the staff’s diligence, we were able to remove both masses before they had a chance to spread. Skip to yesterday, we established care for my second pup. She has a bit of a rocky past and has been known to get a bit nippy, so naturally I have been dreading bringing her in to update vaccines. Well, I could not be more pleased with the outcome! Alex was so calm with her, communicating to the rest of the staff regarding her needs, and the whole appointment went better than I could have asked for! She even gave the staff a few kisses of approval after all the pokes were done. I have never written a review before, but Dr. Brown, Alex, and the front desk staff have been amazing to work with and deserve all the praises!

I’ve been taking my dog/s here for about 12 years. They always impress me. They don’t just rush in and rush out to get to the next pet. They spend time with me and ask questions about everything and tell me the options, and the pros and cons of each. They treat my dogs like their own.

Dr Newton is wonderful! We have four Pekingese. She is compassionate and extremely committed to the pet’s health. She communicates the pet’s needs and her concerns effectively to the pet parents. She not only spends all the necessary time at an appointment, but also follows up with detailed emails when required. She’s a personable, dedicated and very intelligent professional.

Animal Health Care Center has been our pets’ healthcare provider for over 15 years and have done such a great job. Most recently they took such great care of our 10 year old miniature Schnauzer. Our little one was unwell. After seeing Dr. Newton and senior tech Nelly, our pup was diagnosed with a tumor on her spleen. We were super concerned but Dr Newton and the entire team kept us well informed, addressed all of our questions and helped us feel better about our decision to have our little one undergo a splenectomy and spay.
