Susan Urqhart-Brown is a fine human being and teacher. She has all the great yoga teacher components in place: compassion, knowledge, spirituality, kindness, devotion, and patience. I highly recommend Susan’s Anjori Yoga classes!
I have been practicing with Susan fairly steadily. She is a gentle, dynamic and encouraging teacher who asks her students to go at their own pace and to notice improvement. I have recognized many benefits from her teaching which include: ease with the poses, improved balance, shoulder strength, greater flexibility and a general sense of well being that stems from a yoga practice. I enjoy the meditation and the candlelight yoga evenings. I am very happy with the intimacy of her studio. 5 Stars !
This is a small, intimate yoga studio, well-appointed and friendly. Susan is a very caring and capable instructor, and takes pains to ensure no one hurts themselves. Nevertheless after a few weeks, I am experiencing real benefits in terms of flexibility and well-being. Note however this is probably not the right choice for the 20-something Pilates crowd!
I have attended wonderful sessions at Anjori Yoga in restorative yoga. Susan is a great teacher, has all the equipment needed, takes the time to customize the poses for each person and follows up with emailed instructions to do the poses at home for maximum results. I recommend her and the studio highly.
I find Susan to be a gifted instructor and extremely knowledgable. Like many older students, I have specific limitations or difficult areas to exercise. I have repeatedly watched her skillfully address and suggest options to poses to accommodate those issues. She is truly a studied and skillful teacher. Her classes are fun and inspiring.
