I’ve been practicing with Jin Sung for over 20 years. His teaching provides practical and immediately useful detail and specificity in order to obtain maximum benefit structurally and energetically from any pose. Jin Sung has a capacity to see where your individual movements and poses can become more accurately physically aligned, and can provide guidance on the deep internal flow of prana and energy. He is attentive and flexible, tailoring poses to each individual’s ability. He is caring, sincere, honest and oriented to spiritual and physical health and well being. Whether you are just starting your yoga journey or are a seasoned practitioner you will find unusually excellent guidance and inspiration from Jin Sung.

This place is a true treasure of wisdom. I have been doing moment for 30+ years yoga, tai chi, martial arts. Working as a professional and a teacher for 20 of those years. JinSung was showing me things that are fundamental to movement and alignment that I have never seen or heard of. In three class I have had breakthroughs that I didn’t know where possible on a physical and emotional level with relationship to my body and moment. I would also like to add my friend who has no yoga experience and does not work out loved the class as well. Please do your self a solid and take a beginner level 1-2 class with JinSung and come with an open mind and heart and see what happens.

I honestly think this is the best place for yoga in the east bay. JinSung is an amazing teacher and will truly help your practice no matter what stage you are at in your journey. As others have said, this is not jazzercise yoga. This is a true yoga practice - spending time in each pose. On top of JinSung being an amazing teacher, the studio is spacious and beautiful with ropes on the walls. Honestly, having a studio and a teacher this good is an absolute gift. If you haven't been to one of these classes yet - you may truly be missing the best opportunity.
