Came in on Sunday December 28 with a friend our first time in , we had a amazing server named Laura, she gave us some good recommends on what to order and we took her up on her recommendations. I ordered the Crabcake Benedict and OMG let me tell you they was some DAM good Crabcake s!!!!! full of meat no fillers beat in Winston Salem .... My friend ordered apple fritter French toast and omelette with goat cheese and apple chicken sausage, he said it was amazing. We will definitely be back. The server was amazing on top of everything Laura keep up the Great work.
I had just the nicest experience at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Winston. My husband and I met our daughter there for brunch and had such a good experience. The food was delicious and plentiful, but the highlight was by far our server Bonnie. She was attentive, funny, educated on the menu and made our experience just the best! If you go to this restaurant, be sure to ask for Bonnie!!
I wanted to eat a bunch style breakfast and this location is just take. The decor give you a vibe of those breakfast restaurant in a upscale hotel. I decided to seat at the counter. The location looked clean. Serve was quick and attentive. They have a selection of mocktails for those individuals who do drink alcohol. I decided to get one for myself. The breakfast was to my satisfaction. I will definitely return to this location when family come over. The location has been opened for eight months and they are heading in the right direction. Update: I returned with my beautiful daughter and she loved their limited harvest menu. They were all delicious 😋 Update: I went again and again, everything delicious.
Excellent food & service. Laura was a delight and made our brunch experience lovely. There was a slight hiccup with one of our dishes and MJ the team leader promptly took care of us! I’m talking Disney World type of customer service. Extremely wonderful and understanding. The cinnamon French toast was recommended to us and I tell you what it did not disappoint!! Also the chicken and waffles were tasty. All the team members seem to have joyful happy vibes about them. Perfect cozy fall vibes all around. Can’t wait for our next visit!
I would rate my experience as just ok. My family arrived on a Sunday morning around 10:45. The wait time was about 30 mins. Typical for a Sunday morning. Seeing the 93 sanitation rating was slightly concerning. Not a low score but you expect and want to see a 96+ when eating out. For first timers, they do offer a plate of binets on the house. A very cool perk but in our case, the ones we received were hard on the outside as if they had been sitting for a while. They were free so there was no reason to complain or mention anything. I ordered the seasonal peaches & bourbon cream pancakes. They weren't good and I wouldn't recommend them. The chicken sausage links and eggs that came with it were just fine. My wife ordered the Hey Lucy! Omelette and it was great! Tasty and full of flavor. I recommend that dish for sure. My kids ordered the chicken tenders meal and they seemed to enjoy it. It's hard to mess those up. As for the coffee, we ordered just regular pot coffee. It had a little bit of a burnt flavor to it. Not sure if it was the coffee brand or if the coffee had been sitting on the burner for too long. Overall it was an average to below average experience and I had high expectations based on previous reviews that I read. I'd go back again and try other items on the menu. If I have a better experience then, I'll update my review.
