Four wobbly chairs from my grandmother’s dining room set were picked up on a Tuesday afternoon and returned the following Monday good as new. The service was excellent. A very courteous and polite gentleman picked up and dropped off. They did exactly what they said they would do and didn’t charge me for one chair that didn’t require as much work. Honest!

What an absolutely beautiful job Antiques & Furniture Inc. did staining and sealing our mahogany door. From start to finish, they were professional, prompt, and kept us updated every step of the way — even sending progress photos so we could see the craftsmanship unfolding. When they first picked up our door, we had only planned to have it sealed. But before moving forward, they immediately called and invited us to come by the shop to discuss the plan. The owner, his son, and the entire team were there when we arrived, and they took the time to explain that the wood’s natural beauty deserved to be highlighted with stain rather than just sealed. They showed us samples and the stunning grain patterns running through the mahogany — and they were absolutely right. Once sealed, it couldn’t have been stained later, and we are so grateful for their honesty, expertise, and love of true woodworking. The finished result is breathtaking. Their care, skill, and integrity are evident in every detail. We are genuinely blessed to have found such talented craftsmen and already have more projects lined up with them. From our very first meeting, we knew we were in excellent hands. Without question, Antiques & Furniture Inc. is the best refinishing and restoration team in the DC and Northern Virginia area.

We have had two smallish family heirloom furniture pieces restored recently by Antiques & Furniture Restoration Inc. We are very pleased with both outcomes. My great grandmother's small desk was literally falling apart, was carefully disassembled and reassembled. We were even sent photos of the process along the way. Having it back in such improved condition is just wonderful. Secondly, we had a small antique lamp table belonging to my grandmother's family refinished and it looks beautiful. Farris, son of the owner, has been our main contact. He is very personable, conscientious and responsive. We highly recommend this enterprise.

Yasser and his team recently reupholstered a pair of Louis XV style chairs that were passed down to me from my grandmother. They had deteriorated quite a bit over the years, but his team did a phenomenal job of restoring them. They refinished, repaired, and reinforced the hardwood frame, and took great care to match the pattern of the faux animal print fabric on both chairs. I could not be happier with them and cannot recommend their work highly enough!!

My wife’s antique sideboard was cracked after someone bumped into it and they repaired it quickly and beyond expectations. The sideboard is from 1802 made of mahogany and they were able to fix the crack and blend it to where you wouldn’t even know it happened. We live in Southeast North Carolina and had it shipped there because of the reviews. If I need any service like this in the future, this will be my first call. Also, customer service was awesome. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and even called me before he finished repairing it to ensure that I would be happy with the job. First 3 photos are before, last one is after.
