Needed 4 maple wood chairs refinished. Finishes were badly worn and a couple of the chairs had damaged/ loose spindles. Full repairs and refinish consistent with the new tabletop completed with outstanding results. $1000 tabletop was left with J & Son to ensure refinished chairs matched tabletop. Tabletop was well-cared for while in J & Son possession. Completely satisfied. All expectations exceeded. Highly recommended. Thanks.

I brought in to J & Son Furniture Repair an antique chair that had been in my family for generations. The chair was in poor condition at best. I just saw the refurbished chair and am astounded by the how beautifully the chair has been restored. Juan meticulously repaired (including adding height to the legs), reglued, refinished, and reupholstered the chair. J & Son truly are craftsmen that do top-restoration work on antique pieces. Additionally, they charge fair prices for their services.

I purchased this chair close to 35 years ago in an antique store before I was even pregnant. I rocked 3 sons in it and now I can look forward to rocking my grandchildren for years to come. They beautifully restored my grandmother’s mid-century dining room table. It’s gorgeous! Juan was very knowledgeable and guided me on finishes and stains.
