Amazingly simple to book a class. I am not the best at communicating and have a tendency for my responses to seem erratic and ranting when texting, yet Travis talked me through the processes required in a way that made it easy for both of us to communicate and set me up for a class. Not only that, but he helped me reschedule when something came up, and was very patient with me despite the trouble. My only concern is distance, but that's a personal problem. I will write a second review once I have completed my class which I am very excited for. Regards.

I was in the market for a way to get back in shape, when I stumbled upon Armored Self Defense’s website. It was super easy to get in touch for information, with a very quick response time. Connie did a wonderful job learning more about me and my fitness goals, and helped find the right class for me. She also gave really clear info about what to expect from the first class. Travis is a wonderful instructor, and he demos all of the moves with ease. He also does not take my lack of enthusiasm about some of the exercises personally. If you want a friendly and supportive group class, this is your place. They greet everyone by name, and they let you hit things!!

Very comfortable and fun martial arts gym. From younger students to older adults, you can do it! The program not only encompasses the physical aspects of self defense, but also the mental aspects as well. They teach real martial art skills as well as lessons that go beyond the training floor. Connie and Travis are excellent instructors. They take the time to individually correct your positions and movements so that you get it. You can see their enthusiasm and care they put into teaching.

I absolutely love this class. It truly is for everyone, no matter what your experience, skill level or physical fitness level Travis and Connie make you feel at home. The students are wonderful and welcoming. This class helps to build not only your stamina and fitness levels it also helps to build confidence and provides usable techniques to defend yourself. The class is structured to help you build strength speed and skill without being intimidated. I have previous injuries, no experience and am not fit at all. I am constantly surprised by how much I enjoy this class and the supportive, encouraging environment that they have built. Don't second guess yourself come try out a class!

Travis and Connie are great instructors. They do an amazing job of creating a welcoming and positive class environment; their quality of instruction is always high as well. I always leave class feeling accomplished and with a new skill to practice until the next time I attend class. I always look forward to coming to class and it’s a fun and additional constructive way to train and workout.
