I went in to make a quick purchase as I knew exactly what I wanted and where it was in the store before I got there. I intended on being in the store maybe 5-10 minutes. Not even 5 seconds of me being in the store, I was “greeted” by a worker who was organizing displays by the front door. She said something along the lines of “isn’t there a driving ban? We have a lot of customers I wasn’t expecting” I just laughed it off, but my husband told her that there wasn’t and the roads were clear. The worker then responded with “so much for closing early because of not having customers” how unprofessional! It was around 6pm when this happened, at least a minimum of 3 hours before they’re scheduled to close. A part of me just wanted to turn around and leave, but I was already there so I figured I’d just get what I needed and leave like I intended on doing anyway. I’m sticking to homegoods and tjmaxx from now on.
