Disappointed in my experience today. Despite moving away from the area my wife and I still wanted our daughter to see Dr. Martin because we trust him and he knows our daughter after several great appointments. However, today due to some additional unforeseen traffic, my daughter and I showed up at the end of the grace period and our room was immediately given away. This was extremely frustrating as Dr. Martin was not able to be seen that day and we had to now make a 90 minute trip without having seen the doctor. I know it affects everyone else’s scheduling if we are late but the room being unavailable and the staff not being helpful at all makes it a pretty difficult choice but to change our primary care. It’s unfortunate for us but felt this review was necessary as it was a bad way to start the week.
We are so thankful for this Office! We have seen multiple providers and the lactation consultant. All of them have been so helpful and kind. Dr. Travelli called us on a day he was off to go over results which saved us so much stress. We frequently see Dr. Bozin and she is so knowledgeable and generous with her time. Can’t recommend enough!
We could not love Charlotte Pediatrics & Dr. Rhonda Patt more! We are always able to get an appointment when we need one. While it may not always be with our primary we have never been disappointed with any of the doctors we have seen. Dr. Patt listens, comes up with a plan and follows through every single time. So thankful to have had all 3 of our kids go through Charlotte Pediatrics in South Park.
Everything went really well except for the fact the Dr was extremely pushy about giving my daughter "the flu shot" I don't approve of all immunizations. Because my daughter now has a disability that never came about until.so she was so very young. She was given a lot of Unnecessary immunizations at the same time.. Nothing was noticeably wrong until her nose start pouring blood. It was made clear that she didn't talk anymore.. This experience happening to us, I don't appreciate anyone trying to push, any kind of immunization. On us, I believe all immunizations should be completely 100 percent up to the parents and no one else is opinion Dr or not. I only have experience doing the flu shot once and that's the only time I ever got the flu, so that's where I'm gonna go off of is my experience. By these previous proven or not proven facts are really trying to tell me that. I don't like to be confrontational, but if I say no, please don't keep trying to push it on me.
Unfortunately, I’ve had consistently negative experiences with Dr. Werner, both during my son’s newborn stage and again at 11 months. She comes across as very judgmental, especially toward first-time moms. Our first newborn visit was with her only because she had wide open availability (which, in hindsight, says a lot). My son had lost 13% of his birth weight by day 5, and instead of offering support or considering the full context, she immediately told me I could stop breastfeeding — just one week postpartum. She also assumed we weren’t open to combo feeding, when we absolutely were. I later consulted with far more experienced pediatricians who reassured me this level of weight loss is something they see regularly and know how to support without jumping to extremes. Her reaction caused a lot of unnecessary stress and disrupted our feeding journey. Fast forward to 11 months later — once again, she was the only doctor with open appointments. During this visit, she got unnecessarily harsh and was the only pediatrician who couldn’t check my baby’s ears without me restraining him. She implied I wasn’t comfortable holding my own child, asking, “How would you be most comfortable holding him?” in a tone that felt accusatory, not supportive. It’s clear to me now why her schedule is always wide open. I deeply regret both appointments with her. I would strongly recommend seeing another provider if possible — especially if you’re a new parent seeking support, not judgment.
