Room was not up my my level of clean. Definitely room to improve. You need to wipe everything down. Three stars is being generous.

What an amazing experience and a beautiful stay! This spot is the only place we come when we are in Oakland Ca it's run by some incredible people. I was going through so much during my stay and Aj was so kind and humble it was incredible to meet such a wise and kind man! Daisy was also a joy, incredible attention to detail and support for my stay I would give it 10 stars if I could!!

I want to say that this hotel is great for a 1 night layover. If you have a flight the next day it fits the bill. The room was well appointed. Very basic and clean. The bathroom area was updated, water was hot, towels are thin, they provided shower gel/wash and it too was clean. Bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean, but.... it's minimal. Fitted sheet, a sheet and a very thin bed cover? It won't keep you warm. The a/c works great.... but, it's right next to the bed and blow directly on you. As for the area, well... thats a different story. Maybe because I'm originally from the Bay Area I didn't feel too unsafe, but if you aren't, you will. The street is lined with food vendors and a block down... a homeless encampment? We opted to get our dinner near by (Wingstop and Panda near the airport) and come straight back and in for the night. Overall it's not a bad stay. I'd stay again as long as the reviews stayed the same.

This is probably the safest spot in one of the rougher areas I've stayed in. The rooms are... fine. A little small but not a whole lot of note. Service is also fine, but I'm not sure why you can't just include the $6 parking fee in the room price, especially when the place was half empty and car alarms were going off outside my windows. Overall, if safety is your main concern, I'd probably stay elsewhere- if proximity to something nearby is what you're after though, this place is alright.

This place is amazing! The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. We were two people in a room and it was more than enough space for us. Normally when I stay at inns or motels I have problems with the bathroom being dirty, but at this place, the shower and toilet were super clean! Great water pressure as well. The staff is very accommodating and let us extend our stay one more night last minute. I will stay here again☺️
