At 12:30pm I paid 1 month rent 3 days early thru Cash App. Four hours later managers Marzella and Mundo ATTACKED my room demanding I pay them $200 in cash or they would tow my car and I'd be sleeping in the street. They tried kicking down the door in and kicked the wall so hard a piece of window glass broke out. Proof of payment was of no interest. I am a SWF and they wanted their take.
This by for was the worse motels experience I've every had hard to believe this place is allowed to stay in business. The door was opened and unlocked no tv no toilet paper no soap no towels the shower had no shower head I was like omg the bed looked like someone slept in it and the roaches where everywhere I got no sleep I've been in jail which was like a 5 star stay compared to this.
COCKROACHES!!!! The room was FILTHY DIRTY !!! I turned on the light and there were four roaches crawling on the floor, burn holes in the blanket, the window was busted and the tub had hair in the drain and a plunger sitting there. Completely hazardous and unsanitary conditions. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND !!! A positive note- the Night Shift employee was extremely helpful and friendly despite the horrendous conditions of the work environment. UNHEALTHY TERRIBLE AND EXTREMELY TOXIC ENVIRONMENT. 100% agree that this building should be condemned
Reserved for a (2) night stay on 8/12/24. I read some of these reviews and clearly were discussing either two different sites with the same name in different locations, however I am only discussing our experience at the International Casa located at: 5714-5720 International Boulevard, Oakland, California (were from the Town/Bay Area and there is NO Oakland, San Francisco these are both cities within California. PLEASE READ BELOW Absolutely Do Not Stay here under any circumstances. You would be more comfortable in a fiat over night with out a restroom for 12hrs. This place should be condemned and fined. My husband and I reserved this hotel for just an over night stay through priceline for $117.98. The outside of the building is sketchy at best. The janitor per him (janitor) was also guest services from the front entrance of seeming to be a family home, and he appeared allegedly to be intoxicated. Once he provided the key to a room for us to view, you walk down a path of old furniture and poop, animal, human or other. My husband unlocked and opened the door where we were greeted by big black roaches falling from the ceiling to the floor, crawling under the bed, and everywhere else. The bedding appeared to have been on the bed since the 60's without ever meeting soap and water. I had seen all this from the door as I refused to enter. I was crushed and wanted to cry. I went back an sat in the car, as my husband went and checked out another room where he unfortunately managed to step in poop at the second room. He advised to me he didn't see any roaches or other bugs but the room haven't been cleaned and the toilet was nasty. I called Priceline whom refused to refund our money back unless the International Casa agreed too as a courtesy. I called our bank and filed a claim, reserved a second room at the Raddison (Beautiful). I called Priceline again today 9/4 and got the same song and dance regarding a refund. I can only imagine what your not able to see with the naked eye at the International Casa Oakland, California. Please take my advise in full detail, if you cherish your health, physical, mental, and emotional. 0 Star Rooms 0 Star Services 0 Star Location Hotel description take it with a gran of salt. Priceline indicated that we are a VIP Gold Member ( Really). UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE NO PICTURES OF THIS NIGHTMARE.
Not the best motel, but run by ethical businessmen who are trying their best with what they got. My only true complaint was that my deadbolt on my door was not working properly. Bring your own towels! Didnt see any bugs or signs of rodents in the room. Fridge was cold. Bed was actually okay too.
