The Bay Play team were accommodating, kind and friendly at every point for my kids birthday party! Which was especially impressive on an extremely busy day (rainy and the last weekend before holiday break ended). It woukd have been completely understandable if they were stressed out, but they weren’t at all, not for a moment. Absolute professionals at making kids happy, and they knocked it out of the park for mine!
Good for younger kids. Some of their setup is max age 8. About half of the park is essentially unused. They have stuff there, but it’s not designed well. My 10 year old got bored quickly and they’re still fine with playgrounds. Definitely a place where you feel nickle and dimed and manipulated though. A friend did a birthday party here and handed out these cards for the videos games. The cards got you 2.5 games — essentially only enough to get the kids interested in the games and begging for more. So either you have a birthday party where some kids get more games because their parents give them more or a party where you redirect all the energy. Even so, we looked into a party here ourselves and the pricing structure was miserable. It’s the same cost as all the other commensurate parks, but the jumps in cost all make sense at other places, not so much. Finally, Bay Play only socks, no other grippy socks will work, because of course. Good bones to the place, I would just love a few tweaks.
Bay Play was an excellent choice for our child’s 3rd birthday party. They were very transparent with their pricing from the start, which we really appreciated. While we were there, the staff was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and attentive, making everything run smoothly. The kids had an amazing time playing at the facilities and with all the games, and the birthday room was set up perfectly. Everything was very clean and well maintained, which gave us great peace of mind. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and made for a fun celebration.
Took my daughter to Bay Play in Oakland and we had a great time! It’s a clean, well-designed indoor playground with just the right mix of fun and safe. The moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming—made us feel right at home. She had an absolute blast. There were plenty of things for her to climb, explore, and interact with, and I appreciated that the space felt organized but still allowed kids to be kids. You can tell they’ve put real thought into making it a joyful environment. It’s also nice as a parent to have a spot where you can sit back and relax a bit while your little one is totally engaged. We’ll definitely be back soon!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This indoor playground is fantastic! It’s the perfect spot for my child to burn off energy and have an amazing time. The climbing wall is a highlight—safe, well-maintained, and so much fun. My child couldn’t get enough of it! The arcade is another great feature, with a nice variety of classic and modern games. The entire space is clean, organized, and offers something for everyone. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, which made me feel confident about my child’s safety. The playground is spacious, colorful, and designed to keep kids entertained for hours. Whether it’s for a casual day out or a special occasion, I highly recommend this place for families looking for a fun and active experience!
