We went to try out the gym today and left with a membership. The staff were incredibly friendly. Thank you Stewy and Jason for helping us out! We are newer to climbing and felt very welcome. Our 6 year old daughter absolutely loved it. I enjoyed how many families and kids were around it’s good to see all ages enjoying this activity. We look forward to being part of the community and trying out the wide variety of offerings outside the climbing including the yoga and strength classes.
Our new home gym and it's been great. Grades feel accurate, and a great mix of autobelay/top rope/lead routes. The bouldering section is fun with good variety. And the gym classes have been fantastic!
Overall a really solid place to climb. Lots of top ropes, lead routes, a few autobelays, a reasonably large bouldering area, training area and gym (lifting, cardio) upstairs. Routes are updated regularly and route setters are generally great. Occasionally a grade seems a little sandbagged or generous, but that’s expected at any gym. This place has everything you might want from a climbing gym, including a great community of local climbers. I really enjoy climbing here. Unfortunately it also has far too many barely supervised kids running around. I’m all for family friendly, but this place takes that way too far. Summer camps ruin the vibes for serious climbers all summer long, and forget coming between 5p-7p on a weekday during the school year or you’ll just be in a sea of children. I probably seem like a curmudgeon, and on some level I am, but I implore the owners of this place to put some strict rules in place to prevent kids from running/playing in an inherently dangerous environment. Parental supervision ought to be a requirement for kids under 10, and anyone under 18 should have a cheaper membership and be restricted to certain hours. Realistically, I’m sure the gym makes piles of money off all the kids so nothing will change, so I kindly ask parents to remember, this is not the playground and please don’t treat it as such. Doing this is not safe for your kid and not safe for adults either. No one wants to accidentally crush a child…but this is hard when they’re literally everywhere.
Great gym and staff. Huge climbing area, lots of auto belays for solo climbers. Lots of challenging routes for experienced climbers and an area dedicated to less experienced and youngsters. Highly recommend! Photo is just a small slice of climbing area. Good gym upstairs also
Very impressed with this gym, the quality of the facility, quality of the holds, and quality of the routesetting is top notch. Denver is no stranger to great gyms, but this one is top notch in all respects. When I entered, Miranda greeted me at the front desk and gave me an orientation, and made me feel welcome right away. She is a great hostess. Everyone else in the gym was very friendly. The gym is much bigger than it looks in the photos. I only bouldered, got to try about half the problems. There are all grades and styles represented, even dynamic and coordination boulders. 10/10 A+ experience.
