I truly commend Bhava for nurturing such an inclusive, approachable and yet robust space to practice yoga in. I went here several times a couple years ago while travelling in New Mexico. I still join virtual classes at Bhava because of how much I valued the instructors and philosophy over yoga studios even nearby me in New York. Marisol is an amazing leader and instructor and the private lesson with her was very formative for me in how I shaped my body awareness and exercise regimen from that point on. She was extremely present in the class in a way I hadnt felt before with other instructors. Thank you for all you do!

Tried the intro month and every hour is amateur hour at Bhava it seems, since most of the instructors were apparently trained by the wildly unprofessional owner. But no shortage of appropriating Sanskrit to the confusion of students (or going on and on with misinformation about anatomy, making focus and relaxation impossible). Also filthy — you will leave covered in pet fur and long white human hair. AVOID.

It's better just to be straight with people. If you don't like what someone says, then just say that. It's not a big deal - it's called being assertive. And a *yoga teacher* should be able to do that. Instead of being passive aggressive until the person leaves. That's weird. That's weird behavior for a yoga teacher.

Bhava Yoga is the best!!! A warm welcoming beautiful space whatever your level of yoga is. The teachers are excellent. This my community. I am a longtime practitioner and am in NM 1-2 months at a time. I spend all the time I can at Bhava. Grateful for owner/teacher Marisol Brito and the wonderful teachers & staff who make me feel at home.
