Great experience at Castle Royale in Park Royal, West Vancouver. My daughter played for over an hour and loved it. The staff were very friendly and caring, special thanks to Lynsay and Karen. Highly recommend!

Irresponsible and highly unprofessional. In my opinion, the first priority when children are playing together should be safety—something I did not see here. In the future, I will take my child anywhere for recreation except this place. The level of irresponsibility was excessive. Instead of apologizing for the incident that occurred—where another child was hitting and scratching other children, including my daughter—the situation was handled poorly. The manager, Karen, approached me and, rather than apologizing, raised her voice. Even when I was leaving, I told Karen’s colleague that, in my opinion, it would be better to take responsibility for what happened to a customer at your facility, and that perhaps an apology would have been appropriate. However, her colleague showed no concern about the incident and simply listened, which was very disappointing and discouraging. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!

If your child matters to you, never leave them here under any circumstances. There is absolutely no supervision over the children—they only care about taking money and don’t take any responsibility. Today, a young boy attacked my daughter and was punching her in the face. I was terrified, and I don’t know what would have happened if I hadn’t been there myself. What’s even more shocking is that the manager (karen) was very defensive instead of apologizing or showing any concern. I will never come back here again. If your child matters to you, never leave them here under any circumstances. Because there is no supervision over the children and they just take money and recognize the money without taking any responsibility. Today a young boy attacked my daughter and punched her in the face. I was scared and I don’t know what would have happened if I hadn’t been there myself. Isn’t it interesting that the manager here was also very demanding, so he was completely right to apologize. I will never come back here again.

I found this establishment overpriced for the quality and value of the experience provided. The premises did not appear clean, which contributed to an overall sense of neglect. The staff were discourteous and showed little willingness to accommodate guests, reflecting a lack of professionalism and customer service training. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had at a children’s venue.

Very expensive poor experience, playground is small and outdated. Staff is condescending and rude. Avoid at all cost

It seems there is new management, and unfortunately, the experience has declined significantly. The staff were rude and unprofessional, which made the visit quite unpleasant. They now enforce strict 1-hour and 2-hour time limits (around $29.99 for 2 hours), and charge extra for every minute beyond that. While time limits are understandable, the way they handle it is not. Parents are expected to go into a crowded, noisy play area to locate their child and remove them immediately—often having to search through many kids and physically pull them away mid-play, which is stressful for both parent and child. There is no proper reminder system or assistance from staff to help notify children when their time is up. Instead, they strictly enforce the policy without considering that young children don’t have a sense of time, especially when they’re engaged in play. To make matters worse, they even count the time it takes for parents to go in and retrieve their child. The environment itself is loud and chaotic, making it difficult to find or communicate with your child quickly. Overall, the way this policy is implemented creates unnecessary tension and frustration. Considering the high price for such a short experience, this was very disappointing. I would not recommend it.
