Meditation instruction offered freely once a month, regular meditation and spiritual practice retreats onsite/online/hybrid, as well regular meditation practice times everyday. Also, a Sunday Satsang (gathering of truth seekers) program is a supportive for inspiration and community with music, quiet reflection, and an inspirational message. The meditation gardens are beautiful peaceful and the people are wonderful! It is a Kriya Yoga meditation center, open to all seekers of Truth, in the lineage of Paramahansa Yogananda. It honors the harmony of all spiritual enlightenment (religion, spiritual tradition, self actualization) traditions. The Founder, Spiritual Director, and Primary Teacher, Yogacharya O'Brian, is deep, warm, humorous, wise, and very practical.

The Center for Spiritual Enlightenment in San Jose is a wonderful oasis in the fast paced silicon valley. It's serene meditation gardens and wonderful inviting energy makes it a unique place in this area and an exceptional place to call ones spiritual home. If you are looking for a place to grow, discover and nurture yourself, I recommend taking a look at CSE.

This organization really tries to always bring its very best and continually revision how best to serve the yoga community. You will enjoy this organization for its great music, focused scholarship and never wavering practice of silent meditation. This is not a group stuck in time or hung up on titles, but one focused on what is pragmatic. Very attractive grounds too.
