Clean Roofing, led by Jose and his crew, and project lead Miguel, did an excellent job installing a new roof, gutters and gutter covers, and roof jack. The work was professional, on time, and I would highly recommend Clean Roofing for any roofing project. They kept me fully informed, were tidy and cleaned up, and the entire roof appearance is beautiful. Thank you very much Clean Roofing.

We had Clean Roofing on as the company to do a major roof project for an expected future solar installation. Miguel Huerta and his crew did an excellent job on the project. We needed the whole roof replaced with new plywood, shingles and gutters and their team worked fast. It took a week for everything to be complete and they didn't leave a mess at all. Any complications that came up, they communicated it with us and resolved it in a timely manner. The quality of the roof overall is great and looks beautiful.

I chose Clean Roofing for a full roof replacement going from wooden shaker panels to composite asphalt. Clean Roofing also has a sister company called Clean Solar, and my initial contact was with Art (sales) who mostly answered my solar questions but was more than well versed in answering general questions on roofing as well. He was professional and didn't try to cross sell services, nor was he pushy when I was hesitating on such a costly expense. Ultimately, choose Clean Roofing over other companies because of the professionalism working with Art, the follow-ups, and the detailed quote provided. Their quote came in right in the middle of all the bids, and they have their master installer warranties to put the cherry on top. Service: I landed Rodrigo as the foreman and Miguel as my project manager. Both were communicative, and informed me of any issues as the project went along. I always have a healthy bit of skepticism when contractors leave the door open for "unforeseeable issues", but I felt they were very honest in terms of what absolutely needed to be repaired vs what could've waited. My project was close to 40k, but we only saw about a 1k over-run due to dry-rot. They took plenty of pictures of the problem areas, and gave me the option if I wanted to replace. Miguel followed up daily to ensure I didn't have any questions, and Rodrigo led his crew with a professionalism that inspired confidence in his craftsmanship. He was also very joyful, and that's awesome to see someone that loves their job so much. Cleanliness: Re-roofing is a loud and messy job, but everyday I came home to a clean worksite. The floors were all blown clean, and they neatly made a pile of their tools in a corner of the driveway for use the next day. I have an exposed garage, and the team offered to tarp my belongings before the project started, and tried their best to clean the garage of all the debris that fell by the end of the project. There was a bit of an obstruction that found it's way into my bathroom exhaust vent, but Rodrigo took care of it right away when he was back on site the next day by blowing it out. Quality: From what I could tell, the roof looks clean. It passed inspection on first try, and all flashings look properly cut. I guess I'll only truly know when it's rainy season again, but we love how clean the roof looks for now! Would highly recommend Clean Roofing, their service was top notch and I feel confident in their work.

I chose Clean Roofing because I was having solar panels installed through their sister company, Clean Solar, but unfortunately the professionalism, competency, and attention to detail that was present in Clean Solar's work was absent from this company. We chose to go with a metal roof and the whole process felt like this was their first time installing a metal roof. They were short on materials… project delayed. They didn’t realize they needed to do a teardown inspection from the city… project delayed. They didn’t realize they needed a special saddle for our sky light… project delayed. You might be thinking, well does that matter if they ultimately did a good job installing the roof? They did not. We’ve had to have them back twice already to fix issues with craftsmanship and finishing (See pictures), such as leaving gaps in the roof and globs of exposed silicone facing the front of the house. They also didn’t disclose the process of metal roof oil canning ( where the roof looks like it has dents), and their install had way more canning than other metal roofs I’ve seen locally. The communication and care for the house was also poor. After they "cleaned up" for the day I would have to pick up loose nails in my driveway. They left sheets of loose 6ft strips of metal on my roof over the weekend which came crashing down into my front walkway on a windy day. They would say they would be coming one day and then not show and say they wouldn’t be coming then show up. I recently had an attic fan installed in my roof and they tore it out and threw it away without telling me. I later was told that attic fans don't work with ridge vents, but it would have been nice to have the option to keep the fan I spent hundreds on. Their initial price for the roof was fair, but I had a couple mandatory change orders that they charged a 22% markup on. I’m used to seeing a 15% markup, so this was definitely high for me. I unfortunately cannot recommend them, at least for a metal roof. I will note that I brought up many of the issues I detailed above and the only resolution they provided was a verbal apology. They were good about coming back to fix some of the issues I had with the roof.

Glad we took our time selecting a roofing company. We could not be happier with Clean Roofing. Excellent workmanship. Quality service. Amazing price. We had a complete re-roofing done including underlayment for the spanish clay tiles for a solar project. The roof is completely sealed with a two inch installation and we have already noticed the difference with temperature in the house as the house is a lot warmer. Thank you Monica, Michah, and the crew for completing the job in a professional and a timely manner.
