Coal Cellar + Grill absolutely delivered. From the moment the food hit the table, you can tell everything is done properly, quality ingredients, great presentation, and serious flavour. We ordered a mix of dishes and everything was on point. The steak was cooked perfectly, juicy and full of flavour, with that proper char you expect from a grill like this. The sides complemented it perfectly, especially the fries and sauces, which were unreal. The bread to start was fresh and simple but done right, and the smaller dishes had a really nice balance of flavours without being overcomplicated. You can tell this place focuses on quality over gimmicks. The atmosphere is clean and premium, service was smooth, and the overall experience felt worth it. Definitely one of the better steak spots, will be back for sure 🔥

The food was absolutely top-notch—perfectly cooked steaks, rich flavors, and beautifully presented dishes. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and everything was prepared with great attention to detail. The wine list was impressive and paired wonderfully with the meal. Service was excellent—friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. The staff made sure we were well looked after throughout the evening. If you’re in Adelaide and love great steak and a classy dining experience, Coal Cellar + Grill is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

The service was appalling, 45 minutes before a drink order was taken then the wrong wine was brought out. Can honestly say only after have a talk with the manager, who appeared to be a little indifferent to our concerns Food was ok Will not return

We had a pre-show dinner for two and had a great time. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was very tasty and served appropriately timed. A nice, quiet and peaceful setting.
