My baby had an allergic reaction and I called the PCP’s office at 2:30 pm to be advised as what to do. I was originally offered an appointment same day at 4:15 pm but while placed on hold another patient was scheduled and my son was not able to be accommodated the same day. He was scheduled for the next day at 10:15 am. I was advised by the nurse Jennifer that if his symptoms improved I could call back and cancel the appointment. Now I understand the 24 hour no show/cancellation policy. My baby did get better from his allergy and I called same day at 7:50 am to cancel the appointment. Now I’m being marked as a no show/same day cancellation. So because my baby got better and no longer needed the appointment he is being punished and marked as a no show. When I would have NOT been able to cancel 24 hrs in advance due to the appointment not even been scheduled 24 hrs in advance. The policy needs to be revised for such instances. Office needs to do better in these situations. Had the issue with the call center regarding the no show/24 hr cancellation policy. Received a call from Andy the practice manager which she was very apologetic. She handled the situation amazingly. The issue was resolved and really appreciated her taking the time to call me and try to resolve the issue.

The clinic staff is are really nice and lovely. DR. Emma Broadbent is very nice and really shows that she loves what she does, and we appreciate her professionalism and kindness. My kids have always been going to CommuniCare, but we recently switched over to the San Pedro location since it's closer to my job. And I am glad I changed locations. Anytime I have a concern with my children, DR Broadbent is quick to find a solution and is always very helpful! I definitely recommend this facility for your kids pediatrician! DR Jose Quijada is also very helpful, he referred my daughter to getting her cranial remolding helmet. And my daughter has been improving with the process! 5 stars!!!

The entire staff here is wonderful, kind, and professional. Unlike many other clinics where you end up waiting for hours, the service here is quick and efficient—which is so important when you’re bringing in a sick child. A special thank you to Dr. Emma Broadbent. She treats every child with so much patience, expertise, and genuine kindness. It truly warms the heart to see such dedicated care. Highly recommended!

Office staff is very kind and my kids love NP Broadbent. She is really informative and always takes our concerns seriously. She never fails to make my daughter laugh. It’s hard to find good doctor’s offices like this.

This is my absolute favorite office my kids have been coming here since birth. The staff as well as the physicians are amazing along with attentive and caring. I have experienced other offices and physicians and this is the one I will always come back to. We appreciate the all!
