Called about trying to get a device of mine fixed, answered the phone and didn’t ask what they could help me with or anything. Then when I mentioned why I was calling I was given a sarcastic answer as a response.

DB electronics is one of the only stereo repair businesses I have found in the Knoxville area. The owner is very knowledgeable and takes time to treat your stereo component with care and competence. I have traded with him over the past 20 years.

I've taken several vintage and modern stereos to dbE and never once had a complaint on his competency, service or pricing. He takes time to explain what he thinks must happen for service or repair, has passion for quality equipment and doesn't hoard his knowledge. I've always learned something when talking with him. And yes, I'll take my stuff there as long as his doors are open.

Took time out of his day to hunt down a couple vacuum tube sockets I needed and was friendly. It was a little awkward to find, but thats a small price to pay to be able to find a good price and good service

If your looking for a stylus needle for either your turntable or record player, this place most certainly has it. I've known the guy that runs this business since he was at his old location on Papermill Road back in the 1990's. Really knows his stuff on turntables.
