Desert Sky K9 is amazing! Gail and Vince completely transformed my Husky, Koda. His transformation was truly night and day. Before coming to Desert Sky, Koda was from a shelter and was very reactive and had aggression towards food, as well as a dominance issue. I am in school and work full time so getting Koda the proper training was important to me. Even with my tough schedule created delays Gail and Vince worked with me and gave Koda the best training to improve not only his quality of life but mine as well. Just by talking with them you can see the experience and understanding of a dog’s needs.THEY DON’T USE SHOCK COLLARS, which as the pets owner was very important to me when looking for trainers. Koda’s quality of life has completely changed, he’s able to be around other dogs while playing in a gentle manner. He no longer has any forms of aggression towards food or others. Watching the demonstration at the end, as well as being able to participate in the lesson you can really see the work that they do! I am forever grateful to Gail and Vince. I recommend 1000%. Great trainers and even better people! Thank you so much everything you do!

My husband and I took our newly adopted female labradoodle to Desert Sky K9 for a 2 or 3 week boot camp. This was back in June of 2017, a couple weeks after we got her. She was so timid around my husband and we felt she was left outside with her former owners. She was dirty, had ticks and just a mess. She came back to us in a whole new version of herself. Her name is Dixie, and she has been a therapy dog now for 8 years, going to Banner Estrella every week with my husband. They enjoy this time together!! She makes a lot of people smile!!

Desert Sky k9 did such a wonderful job of helping my puppy learn obedience and service dog training! As someone who uses a wheelchair, it was hard for me to train him obedience and even simple tasks. However they truly help me out and he is very well behaved now! I am so grateful for their help.

We brought our 6 month old blue nose Enzo to Desert Sky K9 for the three week board and training. After our consultation with them we were 100% about who we were about to leave our boy with. They showed caring, compassion and love for dogs. After the three weeks we are happy to say Desert Sky K9 did exactly what they said they would. Enzo is attentive and obedient, doesn’t bite or play aggressive no more. Does his commands on point and is just an all out good boy. Enzo is still fun and playful just not so aggressive. It’s everything we expected a more. Thank you so much Gail, Vincent and of course Mark as well. Without his guidance none of this would have been possible. Gail and Vincent treat you like family and are now part of ours. We will always be forever grateful and will always bring Enzo to them when we leave town go out of town. It’s his home away from home. We would recommend them to anyone.

Gail and Vincent were able to take my rescue dog Lucky last minute when I desperately needed it. I was initially supposed to drop him off at Robs Dogs ( I do not recommend them if you have a rescue with aggression). The staff at Robs did not know how to approach my dog and told me he was a liability. I brought Lucky to Gail and Vincent and they knew exactly how to handle my rescue. Vincent is very knowledgeable and experienced. I’ve never seen my dog take onto a complete stranger so effortlessly before. Gail is absolutely the sweetest. She was understanding so warm and kind. I feel very confident and comfortable in leaving him for boarding there if I ever have to go out of town. They are a family owned business and treat you like family. Unlike these bigger corporate companies that will treat you like a number. I can’t recommend them enough!
